My wife and I did this with our minivan but after 1 night of super hot and humid night in Nebraska, I decided yea you can do this but its not as much fun as prople think. Now we have a campervan with a generator, heater and AC, even a toilet but its still now where as comfortable as our house. Good luck
I had a 2006 Element I drove for 10 years. It was perfect for mountain biking, but to live in? Only as a last resort. I like my house, it's paid for so why sacrifice?
I have a 2008 Honda Element that my brother-in-law wants me to trade in for a newer model. But, he doesn't understand how very cool these vehicles are - being a Honda they are very reliable, and I would take this vehicle anywhere.
that rear hatch inside opener you installed allows for easy access for potential criminals should you ever leave windows cracked. All you need is a pole with some sort of hook , nail or catch on the end. Im contemplating some other design.
Someday I'll get my eating under control and I can live in my Element like these two. You'd think it'd be doable for just one person, but not when that person is stuffing red meat and pasta into their face all day. I love my Element but I don't have a work remote job. I have to be in an urban center for work. I'm sure I *could* figure out where I can setup propane camping cookers without getting chased out but it feels like it would make more sense to just eat better
Eating well on the road has been my biggest hurdle, and I’m still trying to find remote employment instead of working multiple part time jobs- I do not have it figured out yet! So you are totally not alone in these concerns. But I believe with time it’ll all come together 🤞
While I admire the ingenuity of people that do car/van/truck living, I could not stand to have to be digging and rooting all day, for everything I needed at the moment. If finances say that it has to be that way, then hopefully it is only temporary. These two are very young and very thin, seem like very laid back folks, so it seems to be working.....for now.
I think this is called the American Dream after all ?! USA with its billionaires, but having millions homelessness, and so much poverty ,why don’t these wealthy billionaires try to help build apartments and houses for the Needy and the poor people ?
This couple is crazy! I have a Honda element that I often sleep in. I couldn't imagine 2 people.
They are both small. Looks there is enough place for two
I don’t like anyone that much, not even my husband. Solo camping only. We’re short/small too.
Great people, awesome vibe, lovely conversion. Best of luck to them!
Yeah if you didn’t see it already check out the podcast we did with them! Get even more detail into their lives.
What a cool couple. Love this community. It seems like everyone that has an element is chill af
Awesome couple, and best vehicle ever for a tiny home on wheels 🔥🔥🔥

How is this possible. I can't even live with anyone in a home let alone a vehicle lol

I saw another couple make an extension to the platform by hanging to the front seats.. looks good. I think we will prob go this route as well!
Could you please post a link to the struts? I had no idea this was possible.

Wow you constantly have to find things to do all day so you're not hanging out in the vehicle till bed
*get to find things to do 😁
is there a FWD Element that comes with a sunroof? From everything i can find they only come in the AWD EX.
No only awd models
I have seen LX models come with sunroof and no AWD.
@@TheLAinvestor you think maybe they were aftermarket sunroofs?
@@4000marcdman no it was factory trust me I used to a factory trained Honda mechanic.
Who needs a mansion when you're in your Element!
Your backyard can be the the ocean or mountains depending on your vibe!
Two cars not all that minimalist.

Not to be ugly but they’re both smaller people
My extra tall body might not be so comfy with another person to boot
Let's go Buffalo
Nice puffco
Just not something I can see myself doing. An odd life….but whatever they like.

How is it any different from being able to open the door handles or window regulators though?
Honda Element with two people? But, WHY?
Oh gosh, I am too claustrophobic for that lol.
For their security you shouldn't have shown their plates!
They said they didn’t mind 💪

I camp in mine instead of a tent!
Same here so cozy inside!
Everybody that lives in their car and has a youtube should be sponsored by Jackery.

Soooo....where do you go when you have an argument or disagreement....sleep under car that night. Ridiculous.
Love the Element but G’s legs are so muscular!
No thanks.
