Hello Kasper, very nice unboxing video! Waiting for the second part. What is your impressions about difference of the foils in the water?I want to buy Iris from Phantom, but don't want to do this until watch your second part. May be F4 better choice?

Great review. Like to see an independent review of the 2 mast. Subscribed to your channel. Thanks.

I can try to put some weight on them and see witch one flexes the most

@@surferkaspert4679 On Seabreaze forum, there is a guy by the name of "airsail" that did an interesting test. Here is how he did it.
A 5 kg load was placed a set distance along the fuselage and a deflection measurement taken, loaded and unloaded. A flex test was also carried out, the 5 kg weight put on the mast 80cm from the mast base and the deflection measured. The 4 x 90cm + masts I tested are the 110 Levitaz, 101 Sabfoil, Phantasm 102 and an old Naish alloy 90cm.
Thickness and chord were measured at 80cm down the mast.
      Phantasm 102 Twist 7mm Flex 10mm Thickness 13.7mm Chord 109mm
      Sabfoil 101cm Twist 10mm Flex 12mm Thickness 13.92mm Chord 106mm
      Levitaz 110cm Twist 16mm Flex 12 mm Thickness 12.5mm Chord 98mm
      Naish 2018 Alloy 90 cm Twist 5 mm Flex 19mm Thickness 15mm Chord 110mm
It would be very interesting on the difference between the IQ & F4. One part is really the flex and twist and the other would be the efficiency and response of the wings. Nice close up shots.

Hi Kasper do the slalom sailors use the same board for fin and foil? Thinking about getting my first slalom board primarily for fin use and it is foil ready (goya proton 116L). I do a lot of freeride foiling and a good freeride foil set up is very different than a good freestyle fin set up so dual use boards do not make a lot of sense in the freeride market. Just wondering if you see the same in slalom foil versus slalom fin. I guess the thought of getting one slalom board for fin and possibly for foil slalom in the future (eg the proton pro) seems appealing, but not sure if it's realistic.

In the beginning 4 years ago I used the big slalom board for foiling, it’s doable but it has a lot of drawbacks compared to foil or formula board. Right now I’m waiting for the av foil slalom board, expecting delivery within the next two months, for now I am using a old formula board, you need a wide tail to be able to push on the foil, slalom boards are pretty narrow in the tail

@@surferkaspert4679 I see so the slalom guys want a wide tail foil board even for slalom, but their normal slalom boards have a narrow tail EG the fanatic falcon versus the fanatic falcon foil
