i love this sprinter extremely a lot. also i havent been to your channel in multiple years since youtube stopped bringing up subscription videos but looks like your production quality and content has only gotten better. hitting the bell to get back on track.
WasabiCars I am really really happy that can get ur reply,is my honor n I am very very appreciate a reply from u bro🙏🏻🙏🏻,thx so much,I collect a lot of jdm tomica vintage car😊
I watched the first minute of the video just when it was uploaded until i had to rush and i'm finally back, look at that sprinter! I see it like an unusual version of the coronas we had here in the 70s, this one looking much better. Something I have to point out, there's sometimes a permanent clear plastic on the door panels which I've only seen in japan. I always wonder if they took so much care for the car that even the factory cover is still there or the owner put it later to protect it. Thank you so much for the video Daniel, quality is getting better every time! :)
You know, I really should find out about those plastic covers. My hunch is that they were a factory option. It's not like a thin plastic sheet that they would use to keep the interior clean for delivery to a new owner. It really is quite thick and durable. Anyway, I should double check. And thanks Walter. I'm really trying hard to make the videos better and better. :)
70's all over asia drag racing wasabi style cars lowered, modified engines, expanded rims, euro rims, Front air dam, racing steering wheel etc. Had been going on for decades. The west are just starting to noticed theyre cool rides
This video, at least I noticed this video gives off a very polished, high quality feel. Has something changed recently. It could simply be me, I didn't sleep last night and I am experiencing a very powerful level of anticipation...which is pleasant even if I'm not exactly sure why.
Hi Robert. I really am trying to spend more time making these vids. I'm now trying to start editing on a Mon or Tues night for Saturday evening release, as opposed to a Saturday morning start.
@@wasabicars Yes, thinks are looking up, and so much has happened to move forward. what a year, one BUMPY time but it is so worth it. Joy is a many times a day visitor. Adversity also enjoys dropping by, that keeps me on my toes, and as i work through it I have learned to be grateful for it.
I love the looks of the KE60 Sprinter! I think it has something unique with those oversized headlights, big center grille and the different tail lights. It's almost as if Toyota tried to miniaturise an American and British car in the E30 series! 😂 And you're welcome for all the Pateon support! IMHO anyone subscribed to wasabi cars should do it!
Here in the US well at least here in Hawai'i all the Sprinters were 2 door fastback model Corollas. A high school buddy drove a 1967 Sprinter with 1100cc OHV motor with 4 speed manual trans. It was in perfect shape with no rust and his dad bought it used for $400.00. Of course this was back in 1977.
@@wasabicars I think it was the KE15. It was the factory red color with 12" steel rims and hub caps. I drove an old 1973 Datsun pickup with 1600cc SOHC engine the same engine as the 510/Bluebird. We'd drag race on weekends on the old quarry road outside town though calling it racing was wishful thinking since both vehicles were gutless barely able to get out of their own way. It was actually pretty safe fun since neither could go very fast. 3rd buddy owned a 1965 VW Beetle with 1300cc engine. Talk about 3 slow cars. At least we had fun racing.
wow that ke60 is super cool can see many similarities to the ke30 has a completely different bum and face tho. cant say i have seen one before. have a 3k-b twin carb in my ke30 not fast if I'm honest but still love it. good to see stuff that i have never seen before as well as some mighty fine examples of the classics we know and love.
Am I going to be able to see anything about pre AE86 Corolla? 1979 SR5 liftback to be exact. Had one back in the day, 2tc 5 spd stick... Even stock had an awesome giggle factor
1979 is the border between two generations of Corolla, so I'm not sure which one you mean. Also, lol, there were two body styles that could be considered liftbacks. Have a look here to see which ones I've seen. wasabicars.com/cars.html?make=Toyota&model=Corolla

They're similar to the 1977 model Toyota KE70 Corolla 2 door that my auntie used to drive, hers was a manual version but I know that the 1.2 litre engined car was gutless in automatic form. It was o.k. only that my grandfather would try to "fix" it up in his shed while she was asleep after working on the night shift as a nurse. The mechanic found out that he'd been mucking around with it ,his reason is he didn't think that the mechanic was doing a good job on it but the mechanic told her to keep it away from him. That lasted until she moved into her new house in 1984 as she was staying with them while it was getting built. Then what happened in 1985 ? She traded it in for a brand new Holden Rodeo ute which she could cart all her horse gear around in,the 2 litre Isuzu engine in them were a dud & Holden either replaced it under warranty or when it was recalled, they had a bad cylinder in them back then in a few of them.
