I see a few times you switched on the secret anti-gravity device you put in all your models! Beautiful John, just beautiful! Music was very fitting as well, very well done Sir!
I'm glad every time this model gets air-time. John, can you share with us what product you used to paint the frame and what is the covering film that you used please. That pastel rainbow effect with the opaque covering is subdued yet classy and suits this gentle flyer.
I just used some old tins of car body spray to colour the balsa. I was careful just to give it a light dusting of colour, so as not to add too much extra weight. The covering is the cheap unbranded stuff from Hobbyking. I think it’s just called ‘clear’ but it stays a milky colour.
I normally just fly from the one slope because it’s just a short walk from my house and I can’t be bothered to drive anywhere else. However, if the wind is in the wrong direction for a long time, I will occasionally travel to a different slope.
I used to fly with my dogs. They loved it.
How fantastic to have such a perfect place to fly so close to home! You are very fortunate as you know! 😊👍🛩
So peaceful to watch the glider floating on the breeze, and great music to go with it!
👍Lovely sky, lovely plane and cute couple and a cute dog! Rick
Thanks Rick.
John você e o cara. Muito top os seus modelos fico babando quando vejo os seus vídeos muito top. parabéns, posta vc fabricando um modelo abraços.
Thank you. So glad you enjoy the videos. They are always good fun to make.
FLOATERS ARE JUST AS FUN...LOW AND SLOW LOOKS SO RIGHT.
Your videos are so soothing to watch, I’d love to try slope soaring one day. And I love you classic three channel gliders.
Thank you. So glad you enjoy the videos
Very light. You really know what you’re doing. Nice.
Thank you.
With such a stress free life you should live to a 120 John! So jealous!!!
But from this, the duration due to building and flying stress should be
retracted. 😅

Thank you!
amazing! Their are RC guys who have motors and Ailerons and still can't fly on breezy days.
All your planes fly like weightless objects in space. 😁👍
John is the bird whisperer.
Gentle viewing. Maybe some calypso music too?
Very nice! We need to see the Gentle Lady as well, please.
I don't think it's a gentle lady.
@@michaelwhinnery164 No, it’s not. However I believe he has one in his vast inventory.
@@camsmeltzer9388 he does.... I have one as well, she flies really well, but cosmetically needs some TLC
👍 WONDERFUL !!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺😁😁😁
Bravo Johan!🇸🇮♥️♥️♥️
Great as all your videos! Like!
Wow ! Now that was special👌
0:15 - imagine living in one of those houses across the bay ... what a splendid place to live !?
Must be a new flying-spot this ?
Yes, went down to the south coast as the wind was from an unusual direction.
Wow…smooth flying and great site as usual…February? Or last summer 😉
It was last summer. Have only just got to uploading the footage.
Four relaxing minutes :)
I'm glad every time this model gets air-time.

@@SlopeRCGliders Thank you for your kind and informative reply.
@@SlopeRCGliders have you found any alternatives? They are always out of stock of the clear matt!
Amazing how clearly and well defined was the lift band in this new slope, John, isn't It ?
Yup, it was a nice slope to fly from. The landing area is great too.
@@SlopeRCGliders Your hand, you mean 😉🤔😂
🌹👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌹

Csodàs.
👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
How much does this one weigh with the radio and batteries in it ?
Off the top of my head, I think the total weight is about 900g
Hi, I am designing a balsa model now, so if I send you the plans can you try it? How do you cut your pieces ( CNC or by hand)??
I cut everything by hand. Send us an email at johnwoodfield@btinternet.com
@@SlopeRCGliders thanks, as soon as I finish, i will send you the plans :)
Do you go to different slopes depending on wind direction?
I normally just fly from the one slope because it’s just a short walk from my house and I can’t be bothered to drive anywhere else. However, if the wind is in the wrong direction for a long time, I will occasionally travel to a different slope.
Ma sono troppo leggeri!!!!!!😄
2:12 I see what you did there👍
👍💪✌️
Beautiful flying spot....shame it's not the prevailing wind direction....It looked marginal lift, but you milked it as usual ...lol ..🤔😳😳😏😏🇬🇧😀
not really good to publisize this 😆
