Thanks mate, been great to see the family. Looking forward to getting back to finishing my sign though! I'd be careful gilding any enamel paint. Normally you use a size but I know from experience imitation gold will work. Be wary using other colours/brands!
We used to use a regular yellow enamel paint mixed with varnish to retard the drying. 30 - 40 years ago though 🙂 A test was painted somewhere so you could check for how it was drying by how sticky it was over time. I find One shot dries way too quickly even with a retarder. I've never used a "SIZE" per se Transfer gold not loose to be clear. Looks great mate, cheers from AU
