I have stained paint with an alkaline snow foam. It was a 1975 Volvo 245 with white single stage paint. Meguiars D301 on a foam finishing pad cleaned it up. I even tried Klasse AIO in a small section by hand, and it worked too. Those were the two oldest and least aggressive chemicals I own.

I have pink snowfoam dave and if I leave it too long on my white paint I get pink run lines on it which I then have to try and scrub with apc and a cutting polish pal. Reduced dwell time on all coloured snowfoam so I mostly go with white. Keep up the good work pal 👍 👏

Used Meguiar's pH neutral snowfoam, it did absolutely shit all (granted they market it as a "maintenance product"). Went to Bilt Hamber Touchless which is an alkaline and it's brilliant! Never had any issues with staining, I imagine that's only when people use it at too strong concentrations and/or let it dry on and leave it for way too long.

    • @epicautomotivedetailing

Hello yes but when you use citrus through a foam cannon it doesn't come out like a foam so it doesn't cling. So basically by adding it to foam it will add a bit of power but reduce cling time reduces efficiency
