@@BuffaloFN no it doesn't. If you bypass optimus it unlocks the full performance of the laptop as the gpu is sending power directly to the monitors display which reduces input lag and fully utilizes the gpu
its useless get a 280hz, the first option is the only one you can go for since the ps5 isnt strong enough to push past 120fps. if you have a 60hz monitor and you go for the first option wich is 165, its gonna be a night and day difference.
@ yeah, if you financially, by a pc its a better long term investment and its usually better price to performance than a ps4 if you want to build on wich will cost you alot less than buying prebuilt amd is easy to do, i suggest you to wait 4-5 months so that the new components releases

It doesent effect how much fps your getting but it definetly makes a big change on how much fps you will be seeing. For example if your Gaming PC can put up 240 FPS but your monitor is only 60Hz then you will only be able to see 60 FPS.
