Women's higher education in Kenya and South Africa
Women are far from higher education in Kenya and South Africa.
Higher education leads to be development of individual, society and nation. In both countries, women have challenges to get education in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) related courses. In research, these countries have progressive legal framework, gender equality and policies to transfer in real life for women but still many marginalised communities are out of all this.

The failure of education sector in Kenya and South Africa
The right to education has no social discrimination. Highly educated citizens are valuable assets of a developed nation. However, the countries like Kenya and South Africa has failed to provide higher education to women diminishing their significant contribution to society.
particularly Women from marginalized communities struggle to access higher educational Institutions and succeed in Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) inspite of progressive legal frameworks in both countries.

Gender Inequality in Education in Kenya and South Africa
Higher education plays a key role in an individual’s and a nation’s development. The constitutions of Kenya and South Africa guarantees a right to education for all without any discrimination. Inadequate representation of women in higher education is holding back women from contributing to society.
Research shows that women in these countries struggle in accessing institutions of higher education, excelling in STEM-related courses, and advancing to postgraduate studies. The progressive legal structure in these countries has not been effective on the ground level and this is evident in the fact that many women, particularly from the marginalized communities are still excluded in higher education.

    Mosquitoes-the most lethal living creatures
One million deaths every year are caused due to mosquitos, as reported by WHO. It is the deadliest living creature as it carries viruses and parasites causing lethal diseases like dengue fever predominantly in Asia and Latin America. In 2016, 3.34 million cases were reported in only 3 out of 6 regions of WHO. As there is an absence of effective vaccines, genetic strategies like releasing genetically modified mosquitoes in wild are getting common. But doing it responsibly remains the biggest concern.

Gender inequality in education in South Africa and Kenya
Women are not allowed in higher education, i.e. STEM and postgraduate studies in Kenya and South Africa despite the changes in law and the constitutional guarantees for equal education, hence they are unable to contribute to society. Higher education is necessary for the public good and the development of individuals and the nation. There is uneven development between genders. I focused on both countries in my research paper and found both countries have progressive policies but the reality on the ground is contrasting especially in marginalized communities

Women's backwardness in higher education in Kenya and South Africa
As all know Kenya and South Africa are one of the progressive countries in the world. Despite having progressive policies and legal frameworks, women still facing backwardness and gender inequality in terms of higher education they are being judged as per gender and sex. Although, the right to education is for all the people without any discrimination women are still struggling to access higher education specially in the fields of STEM(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and many courses.Research has been made with an aim to convert advance framework into an real life opportunity for women. It was being highly observed that in spite of having legal frameworks women who specially belongs to marginalized communities being neglected and being bounded by the restrictions.

Education and Women in Kenya and South Africa
    ----------------------------------------------
Women are neglected with respect to education. They are not allowed to access institutions of higher education. Kenya and South Africa both have progressive legal framework, but they are not implemented as it should be. Right to education exists for everyone but not in reality.
