I know there's English captions and she's definitely no Pullitzer winner but it's a shame the wit behind the original lyrics in Spanish gets lost in translation. A side note here: Spanish is a very allegorical language so, when lyrics get abstract it's actually more about the vibe and not the literal meaning. Example: "I wannaa see those roosters trying to kill a cockroach." She's reffering to men who try real hard to come off as tough (like roosters in cockfights) when in reality they're not and instead are silly and superficial (therefore the roach part). One thing that gives it away immediately is the fact that she uses the suffix "itos" for gallitos/roosters, which in context is the equivalent of the English "little" as a form of degradation. This is the first time that I actually give it a thought, it's not that deep but it's an example.

I am Spanish, from Barcelona and there are many expressions that if you translate them into English, they do not make sense, but for us they do. Hola, urguayan here ✌️the reason why you find so hard to grasp the meaning of some of the lyrics is that she uses a lot of lunfardo (specific slang from the rioplatense region -mainly, but not exclusively Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay) in her work and yes, some of the translation might be a bit off too 😶
