The Battle of Athens saw WW2 veterans return to their homes in Etowah County, TN to rebel against the corrupt police department which had confiscated a ballot box. The Roof Koreans defended their community in LA when nobody else would, and many of them were Marine veterans too. Both times the 2nd Amendment lent itself where needed, and both times people and rights were protected as a result.
