I love how common it is to find old PS1s with a modchip that it literally wasn't brought up once here, lol. The PS1 was my first console as a kid, and it was this exact model. Made me tear up a bit seeing it get restored. Thanks. :)

To be honest I don't think this console was repaired, the power light didn't come on when the button was pushed and the video was cut to further in the future and did not show the console while playing the game.
It’s an inconceivable amount of isopropyl alcohol sprayed. I use a tablespoon at most per side of a motherboard and it’s plenty sufficient. This is overkill for sure. Also, the PS1 isn’t fully screwed back together on the left side underneath the power button. Additionally the power light doesn’t come on. But I do like the bootleg Tarzan game disc with the printed top, that’s pretty funny.

I do remember Tarzan game on PS1. It always bothered me that I could not beat the final boss. Not because I didn't have the skill. For some reason there was some invisible wall where I couldn't approach Clayton. I couldn't figure out if I was doing something wrong or was it a glitch in the game. I was like 9 or 10 at the time so I don't think I had the wits to figure it out if it was some kind of other way to get to him. If anyone knows please let me know. I might still have my save progress on my old memory stick LMAO
