Unholy DK/Hpal was not even that bad in Season 5, you just needed the Mentality to endure the long af, draining games (mental illness lol) and therefore get rewarded with sweet freewins vs double dps wizard/rog teams. The games included in this video were harmless (in terms of lenght), around 3.1-3,2 mmr we had to play way longer games versus WarPal (won mostly) and Feral/Disc (won occasionally) but they were 40 mins+

This build was particulary good on an Orc DK and i prefered Runic Power Generation and extra Stun Reduction over a few more seconds Diseases and Wandering Plague (which can bounce PoM and thereby help all the Priests running around alot). In 2v2 DK is all about timed burst vs Healer/DPS and uptime vs Double DPS anyway.
I have been playing alot of Unholy and Frost Dk (my favorite spec) over the past years and am currently playing Wotlk Classic alot (Mainly Dk and Shaman).

Love your videos! Not many high level DKs in arena that consistently upload! I’m leveling dk myself, I played one in original wotlk, and going frost all the way, it’s also my fav spec
i literally LOLed with the pokemon battle sound track golden! . I was also a dk main in original wotlk but smh i always lost to warrior/paly because of the MS. Keep up the good work!
Hey man, nice video. Could you please tell me what meta gem do u use? Do u think that gloves enchant 340 haste will be better then Pyro Rocket at s6?
I use the 42 Attack Power -10% Stun Reduction, Persistent Earthsiege Diamond as Unholy, as Frost i use the Chaotic 21 crit + 3% crit one
I don't think that 340 Haste Gloves will surpass Pyro Rockets at any point in PvP. it mainly helps ur Gargoyle but the snapshot is getting a nerf next season + people either avoid ur Garg or kill it really fast, so i think the low CD Pyro Rocket burst is much more value

its personal pref, but i dont find reaping to be worth 3 talent points with a pala, i think this build is also good with a preg pala, as warriors/feral/rogue will often try to kill you so the 10% armor helps, but if you feel like its not needed and want to try a bit more offensive build with a preg you can also use improved icy touch and icy talons instead
Chill of the Grave is also good for this and Wandering Plague/longer diseases can break the Rep cc from ur preg so i would probably keep this spec

Do you have your best talent recommendation for alliance DK, furious season, for pushing with Prog/DK comp?
i would still use the same spec, don't think long diseases is too helpful with preg, if you want to CC offtarget or avoid pom bounce and Wandering Plague can break repentance CC also, the armour from Toughness also helps when you get tunneled by feral or rog with a preg. On a Pale Horse is less useful i guess, as Preg can freedom away Stuns on you ( these 2 points could be changed with Epidemic if you prefer it, or Blood Caked Blade if you have a good weapon). I think On a Pale Horse still gives enough value as human with preg to also take it, if you get bit shorter cheap shot before kidney or even shorter Fear, if you guys should eat a double fear and nobody has trinket/lichborne, it can happen.
Hi, what talents you would use as Human dk playing with disc? Go for the icy talons for extra pressure?
i would probably use icy talons, as meeles will try to sit on ur priest more, reducing the value of toughness a bit, but if you find you still get hit by warrs and ferals alot, you can also get the 10% armour for disc dk an the 30% slow reduction from toughness is always helpful
the difference between the first 5 points in the frost tree as unholy dk is not that big imo, i view them as filler talents, because even if u chose icy talons, it only helps ur auto attack a bit so its not that big of a difference
so in short, it doesn't rly matter which way you go there, if you feel like your priest only gets trained you can go icy talons instead of toughness for a bit more extra dmg (but even with a hpala can use that as well)

I play'd even 20% icy talons + engineering haste gloves and it stack godly for that badass garg casts.

@@AM-qq8zk icy talons counts for ghoul and gargolye, same for haste engi gloves but its not snapshotted (they just changed that this season in classic tho that its not snapshot anymore for gargoyle, now its dynamic update)
shouldnt be problem for icy talons but i would never use haste gloves in pvp always engi pyro rocket its abit lower cd and so big imo..
but ye i stated that wrong, icy talons is not completly useless outside of auto attacks, it helps the pets... atm testing 20% icy talons it reduces garg castbar in uh presence by roughly 0,3 sec, engi rocket would only be 0,1 reduce on top
however at high level pvp in arena everyone and i mean really everyone will interrupt pet castbars (both from ghoul explo and gargoyle or just go line/kite/kill gargoyle, so its value is limited there
faster auto attacks value can also often get diminished in value due to the nature of pvp movement
its still more raw dmg to use icy talons ofc, quite a few r1/glad dk run toughness build rn i think, BUT as i said both options are viable and in the end the overall difference between the frost points in unholy spec is not too big
it depends rly what u want... a bit more pump, maybe with a good stun setup playing with pala (hope ur gargolye/pet explo doesnt get peeled or that the cast time is short enough), versus utility from toughness and icy reach (both also really useful talents imo), for example removing a grounding totem instantly with frost rune from the same max range deathgrip, resulting in more dmg cause u get to the target at all... Toughness is similar and sometimes u might even live only by a small margin with it cause it gives u the few extra % dmg reduction vs physical dmg also.
In the end its personal preference, all these talents might decide games depending on the situation/matchup

the complete S6 bislist and gemming is going to look like this btw: eightyupgrades.com/set/5QaVAUzNkraY6bC4xU4GvS (with Trinket instead of Wrathstone as Orc ofc, and maybe Platinum Disc from Wintergrasp as Human to have more Resi, but overall this is very accurate, however achieving this gear will take you a long time and is very hard atm)
first focus to upgrade from the S5 bislist should be (Vengeful Heart Relic (XT Ulduar), if possible and S6 Furious Set and Offparts

it has so much resil, that you could also use Attack power leg enchant instead of resil, but not a big difference in the end, against certain comps that tunnel you this could also feel very nice, but is behind in overall stats compared to the 252 Ulduar HM BiS-List ofc
Hey man, in general tips Against war/hpal? Are you constantly switching on SC or what?
ruclips.net/video/gFYRI9PEqfk/видео.html here you can see the matchup on what was high raiting back then, some things remained the same, but constantly swapping on sc does not work as well anymore, especially if the enemy pala got solace trinket now. In general need to surprise them and burst them somehow, be it warrior behind a pillar with hoj, or on the pala on low hp or without sacred in a HoJ. Coordination with the pala and him helping alot of dmg during the burst is key. Other than that you should play passive and run around pillar and focus on surviving most of the time until u can do HoJ goes again. There was some changes to descration being less staggered on the ground tho, probably making it less aids for the warpal to catch up on pillar now. I didnt play Uh dk vs Warpal after that change yet so cant say for sure...another thing you can do to survive is use Gnaw to take off some pressure as often as possible, if they Warr ragetrinkets u can maybe kill him in a Hoj later; dismiss your pet to get Gnaw available as often as possible. It is hard to say in general if its better to do goes on the Warr with Hoj Gnaw close to pillar, or to pressure the Pally alot, both can work, it depends alot on the situation and also on their Gear. Some WarPals play really different from others and sometimes the Warr got low Resil PvE Gear, sometimes the Pala instead... If you notice something like this mid game like one of them taking way more dmg than usual or high mana pool/lower Hp for example then you should try exploit that and aim bursts more towards this target.
Again, the key is to not go in a PvE race with them and not allowing the Warr to have too much uptime, cause they simply win that. Try play slow and lame and hide/kite/avoid damage alot, then do coordinated burst goes with ur Pala. If you notice they are alot worse than u or start struggling/making mistakes (which usually happens to Warpals on low Glad level or below as soon as they cant kill zugzug fast anymore and get annoyed or fall asleep) then you can start playing more agressive from time to time. Versus some of the R1 Warpals this worked too, like about 50% of the time, if the game got dragged to 20 mins+, most people will start doing small mistakes and finally be out of perfect cooldown rotation. Unfortunately this is the only way to win if they are good and i was using more defensive build with Toughness and medium- high resil too during the last Seasons. It was most useful to not die and drag out the games and eventually win in these matchups where dk/hpal struggles, while the other matchups still remain winnable with the same build. It also becomes a question of mindset in these long games and if u want to bother doing that to get a win or just go next and also your pala has to play quite good and secure for it to even work. If we assume the WarrPal plays flawless with perfect CD rotation etc. you cannot beat them, but no other comp really can, its the strongest 2s comp in the game and it will become more visible to people on the final Season with full expac BiS Gear.

@@xayron1924 depends, if people also drop quite a bit of resil next season due to all the ulduar pve gear it might be worth
but if significant amount of feral/disc and rogue/disc games (and mage/disc, hunter/disc etc) can still be won on mana and Prayer of Mending Bounce ruins the party otherwise, then i would probably keep current spec instead

they fkd that up yea - i also use petfollow- petattack, you need to be closer to the target in range now, so it registers and spam those commands like a maniac then it works mostly, but it was working completly fine for the first weeks idk why they ruined it...

ruclips.net/video/hk6llfJOLPE/видео.html in this video there you can see how we fight preg enh and preg dk, its rly annoying but you need to focus on living and peeling for your mate first and then try burst them, your pala needs to help you do alot of damage when its safe with engi rocket and shock etc. otherwise no chance to kill
its still counter and a pain to face, but i think the key is to not play fast and overextend and and feed them (especially ur pala he needs max range), play slow until they regret rolling this shit, then try to burst them at the right time (where pala moves in), this way i won like around 50% of 3k+ preg teams last season
