Ahtisa did well in national costume. She did not overdo it. The volume of her costume did not drown her at least. Where she lacks is her fashion show. She walked fast, stiff like she was in a hurry. But she was beautifully donned.

All the Asian candidates wore costumes that are culture, except for Philippines that looked like it was inspired by the Gold Fish. If it was pink, the Dyesebel reference would have been justified. It would have been if they put butterfly sleeves on that dress and made it a terno or Filipiana.
I agree with most of what you said but I strongly disagree with your comment on Ahtisa's fashionshow performance. You should know that there's a difference between fashion walk and pageant walk. Ahtisa did her best to switch to fashion walk. I also learned that she was wearing an Ai Dao (I hope I got the spelling correctly) and had to imitate the walk for that traditional Vietnamese attire. I have also learned from a lot of Vietnamese that she walked pretty well. Cambodia on the other hand had a beautiful national costume but her fashionshow walk was pageant walk and this is a popular opinion among pageant analysts and enthusiasts.
I disagree….Ahtisa knows how to peak and how to differentiate between the pageantry and runaway fashion show! 💫🇵🇭…..Some folks here are not smart to discern this.
