Just got the Maroon Gladiator last week. Mines just like yours, the left/right cheek guard is uneven. His mold or whatever must be off a little as they look identical.
Great review! Considering one of these and I'm also digging the green. It'll the Gladiator or the Winning FG-2900. If you have the 2900 it would be great to see a comparison down the track. Enjoyed the sparring at the start of the vid.
Hi bro, great video! Would you say this head guard is good protection when sparing? Also did they say anything about the cheek protectors being different shapes and the cloth badge not being smoothed out?, i am wondering if they have made changes to this. Looking to buy this head guard! Many thanks
Hey Carlo, would you choose this headgear over the Title Bomber? I like the convenience of the quick clip on this top boxer headgear, but I liked how you said the Title bomber is the closest thing to Winning for a fraction the price. I noticed they’re both similar is price also. Thanks for all the great videos bro!
csquaredboxing Awesome! I’ll go with the Title instead. I’ve been training for 2 years now and I finally mustard up the courage and made the decision to start sparring. Just registered for USA boxing last week Friday. Also, any recommendations for type of groin protector, mouthguard, and boxing shoes? Appreciate you for all your help! 💯 (Btw, took your recommendation on the superior boxing gloves...best budget gloves I’ve ever spent money on. glad I purchased them.)
Is this still your go to head gear for overall protection without sacrificing too much vision? I work in sales and love to box. I’m face to face with clients a lot but don’t want a face saver.
Is that patch on top also leather? I like putting some vaseline on my headgear, can take quite a bit of impact away from gracing punches that might otherwise "grip" on to to the leather.
@@csquaredboxing i'll tell you my story. Back in summer of 2000 i tried to start Boxing when i was 22 back then. i had only been there for 1 or 2 weeks and i got put in the ring with this total asshole of a guy who was 8 inches taller than me (i am 5'4 and he was 6'0) and 3 stones heavier than me at 13 stones (i was 10 stones) the fucking asshole punched me full force in the nose and put a permanent dent in my nose because i felt his knuckes (through the gloves) on the bridge of my nose because he wasnt even wearing bandages under the sparring gloves so i could feel his knuckles against my face and nose. Ever since then i totally went off Boxing altogether because i never wanted to get punched as hard as that in the nose ever again. But at that time all these Face Saver Headgears and Nose Bar Headgears had not even been invented back then. At that time it was only just the open face traditional Boxing headgears only. Also i forgot to mention that i was not even wearing any headguard on at all , let to talk of a facesaver or nose bar headguard.
@@tientruong2007 it gets better with time.. it helps to warm up you nose (like massage and move it to the sides) before sparring and also put some vaseline inside your nostrils (don't block your breathing just a tiny bit so you breathing is uninterrupted) and obviously work on your defense.
It’s a nice quality headgear but takes a while to break in as the leather is pretty stiff at first. Visibility is good but the comfort takes a while to adjust to because of the padding and stiffness.
✈️📦💵Do you guys also get to pay custom taxes every time you order something from another country? For infinity gloves they asked me 25 dollars, top boxer win1 gloves 38 dollars, top boxer open headgear 42 dollars. I know it can randomly happen but I got to pay EVERY TIME I ordered something...
Yes, but I decided to focus more on the gear with this channel because there are so many boxing tutorials out there by more qualified boxing coaches like Coach Anthony, Precision Striking, World Class Boxing Channel, and a few others. There’s a lot of fake “coaches” out there showing incorrect technique or don’t even have technique down themselves, so be weary of that as well.
Mann your movement is so smooth on the outside man. Love the footage
I appreciate it brother, I’m always working on it, improving, criticizing myself 🙏🏼🥊
Great headgear, got it in white & was delivered fast. Light & just hugs your face.
Nice!

Did TopBoxer comment on why that is was, did they exchange it for you?

Ha, FIRST!
Good hands, Carlo.
Appreciate it my man!

Yes it’s solid for sparring
csquaredboxing
Did he say anything about the uneven check guards?
Thanks for the reply
Fashion is also taken care of. Same color helmets and T-shirts. I do not believe it is by chance 😀
LOL! Got to look good right?

👌
What's your favorite headgear?
Ringside ultra light headgear. Fits great, lightweight, great visibility, affordable, and uses laces instead of velcro.
@@csquaredboxing ringside over winning headgear?

What would be your top 3 headgears that come closest to winning fg2900
Hey man great work with the channel, just wondering if this headguard is as heavy as the top boxer face saver?
No definitely lighter than their face saver
Is this still your go to head gear for overall protection without sacrificing too much vision? I work in sales and love to box. I’m face to face with clients a lot but don’t want a face saver.
It is for now
Which do you think is the best the" title boxing Bomber Japanese headgear "or "top boxer Mexican style"? For you
I personally like the title bomber a little more
Thank you
Hey man! Thanks for the review!! Do you the clip under your chin is a problem? Like if you got hit with uppercut?
Thanks man and no issues with the clip
Do you think the winning fg 2900 is worth it over this? Or this would be just fine and better for the value?
I would go with this and save some money
Is that patch on top also leather?
I like putting some vaseline on my headgear, can take quite a bit of impact away from gracing punches that might otherwise "grip" on to to the leather.
No
did you try the TOPBOXER facesaver yet?
Not yet hopefully sometime in the future
Which do you think is better ? Ringside Mexi-flex or this one ?
This one
Dam bruh good work.., u look like u holdin back on him tho lol
It’s just sparring, leave the ego at the door and the both of you can gain experience
Headgear Looks nice👍🏻
You love those blue boots aren't you? Lol
Thanks and yes I do lol
can you do a review on the revgear Thai style gloves
Will do!
How long did it take for the headgear to arrive ?been waiting like a month and haven’t got any updates
Like a week and a half
Did you end up getting it?
Does the cheek protectors protect your nose or not ?
It adds a little cushion but you still feel punches to the nose straight on

Just a little
@@csquaredboxing damn so if I wanted nose protection (since I get nosebleeds very easily) best bet is a nose bar then I guess?

do you recommended this headgear or no?
Yes, it’s a very good cheek protector headgear
csquaredboxing thanks man, greetings from Spain 🇪🇸
Im a medium sized in ringside headgear so should I get this in a medium too or large?
Get same size
Also would u prefer this top boxer headgear or the title bomber?

@@csquaredboxing ok heres a good 1, would u prefer the top boxer headgear or the fortress boxing headgear?
what head guard was you wearing while sparring in this vid
The one I’m reviewing........
csquaredboxing oh damn i guess i might delete this comment...
csquaredboxing one more thing is this head guard good for slipping and dodging and stuff like that
Yes, you have a good field of vision
Did you have any trouble breathing with the headgear, it looks like it may cover the nostrils some
@YoMama how are the cheeks on your head guard are they uneven to
What is you head circumference? For reference. I’m thinking about buying his one
24”

bomber

Iron gloves in AZ

I have a question. How is the leather if compare to Sabas headgear ?
Thank you.

What size did you go for ?
Large
hey Carlo, what are 3 headgears you recommend?
Title bomber, ringside ultra light, winning fg
@@csquaredboxing thanks!
What do you think is better, this headgear or the title headgear with raised cheek protection?
I like this one better, also a little better quality
csquaredboxing does this one have any kind of nose protection lol the Title one? Or none whatsoever
