I had a loose battery lead terminal on the starter motor solenoid cause that in my Australian built Holden VY SS Commodore which runs the 5.7 litre Chevrolet LS1 V8 engine & I tried tightening the nut up which fixed the problem for a while then it came back. I already knew that the battery was good because I tested it with my battery load tester, the fix was replacing the solenoid because the nut was galled up on the copper stud so I had to break the solenoid to remove the positive battery lead from the solenoid. Ever since I have done that the engine starts much easier when it's hot because that is when I started having problems with slow cranking !

Most of the time you overthink issues. Most of the time they are small solutions. Take care
