Really loving your enthusiasm as a collector. I was born in Tanzania, East-Africa, and collected for the first 22 years of my life - I’m now in my late 60’s but still have my massive collection (mainly cowries) with me in the UK. I was lucky to scour the reefs all up and down the coastline around Dar-es-Salaam and hopped over to the island of Zanzibar to collect some extraordinarily large harp shells, usually only found in that area. Your enthusiasm reminds me of me as a young collector! It’s great to observe your principles of collecting, particularly replacing rocks in their original position after turning them over etc. Keeo up the good work.
It is currently carefully packed up as we are possibly about to move … but as soon as we have settled again, I shall unpack it and photograph it for you! Keep up with the videos - I’m getting itchy feet just watching you! @@lindsayschilling8707
What a day. Very nice find, the volute and the Sputnik urchin, but the captain cone and the intact checkered bonnet had to be close seconds. In fact, they were all nice, had a great time!
I picked up a shell on the Catalina Island beach and put it in my puse. It was so pretty. A little later, I looked and there was a slimy looking critter in it. I put it back on the beach. I later found out it was poisonous. I was sure lucky.
I love that snail shell! Those bonnets are awesome too!!All of your finds are so beautiful!
I love that you’re posting a video every day. And they’ve been such amazing ones, thank you.
Thank you for only using clean non-offensive language! What awesome finds! I’m a huge fan!

What a Fantastic Hunt Jono!!! My three favorites are the Captain Cone, the big Arabian Cowry, and the Prickly Drupe 😍 TTFN 👋🏼 ❤❤
I'm British and so jealous of the exotic shells you guys have! 😭
Me too! 🥹🇬🇧
Me too! Here in California, we have few shells that wash up on the beach, and the variety is quite limited.
Wow! You find the coolest shells and critters! Lucky you! Awesome episode!

Great day!!!! Nice finds!!!!!
I'm interested in the cowrie, cone, and bonnet shells you're finding. Have a package of this combo in your shop?
Beautiful shells.
Love a shell hunt after a storm!
P.S. The guys who’ve suggested leaving the urchin out near an ants’ nest or on an ants’ trail are spot on … ants are nature’s special cleaners!
What beach are you shelling at?
Leave the urchin out for the ants to clean!

Put it on an ant hill. They will have lunch😊
Put the urchin outside near ants and let them clean it out.
P.S. does it count? HECKA YES!
