Honestly, on my main character I mostly clicked through g3-12 and only really paid attention to Divine Knights and after, so going back through for this series has been a ton of fun, even if the writing and such hasn't aged as well as you might hope. That just makes it more fun to retell.

I think the WG quest is still in the game? I got it on my giant while working to get her ready for 9-12 but it may be changed from how it used to be, I know they did a lot of simplifying as the years went on.
