I must admit, it's a bit unnerving to try out Shape while watching this and copying his movements, because there are about 5 settings to understand/implement for each action which he is NOT narrating. Then he says "Super Easy". Like any new interface with its own architecture, there is a learning curve here as well and you need to dig in, find the resources, learn how to activate and use the manipulator, how to use the Tab and CTRL keys, get some muscle memory... after working with it constantly for a few weeks I might have the ability to work this quickly as well.
I am wondering the same, is it possible to use the slice/section tool to define the point of view for a floor plan or section of the model and generate a 2D basic presentation?
If you turn off perspective you can align the view from above and then export this view. You can learn more here: blog.bricsys.com/open-dwg-files-free-edit-export/
Hi, Ajay, You can render your model using Lumion® LiveSync® for BricsCAD, but it requires a BIM license (BricsCAD BIM V18-V21) You can find further details here: www.bricsys.com/applications/a/?lumion%C2%AE-livesync%C2%AE-for-bricscad-a1422-al2461 and here: support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017006720-Download-Lumion-LiveSync-for-BricsCAD
It is, but the installation is different on the newer versions. You just download the msi file, which is the same for all of their applications, install, then click "Launch BricsCAD Shape" in the bottom left... forum.bricsys.com/discussion/comment/54106#Comment_54106

How is this at 03:10 working to select a single slice out of a full wall?
Slice cuts the entire wall since it is a single solid
Very interesting workflow

Have this software support for keyboard shortcuts? I can't find the settings to configure some keyboard shortcuts.
