In my limited research on this exact subject... I say there's more evidence the rumor is true than there is to debunk the rumor.

In 1970, Pierre Trudeau was running for a second term, as prime Minister, and had ordered Margaret to their friend Fidel's place, because Margaret had been in a institute, for mental issues, and wanted her out of the limelight, while he tried for a second term....and even though he failed to win that 2nd term, he did again in 1980. 2 months after Margaret returned to Canada, from Cuba, she had Justin, and Pierre was nowhere around her when she conceived!

But everything you laid out in front of us, combined with the photos, I’d be shocked if Castro was NOT his father. Great investigative reporting. The “honeymoon trip” sure makes it plausible. You need to see a comparison of Trudeau when he was younger and not balding. But he does have features like Castro.

A trivial point: The Cuban Missile Crisis was in 1962, not "the mid-sixties." Cuba was still a pariah state for most Western countries in 1971. That inaccuracy was unnecessary.
So the possibility seems very strong, just cannot get final evidence. However, the physical resemblance is uncanny! I would have to say yes! he is!

I lived in Quebec for six years and discovered that it’s common knowledge among Canadians that JT is the biological son of Margret Trudeau and F Castro. Former prime minister, Pierre Trudeau, and then wife MT were known swingers. She apparently was a party girl and frequently partied in Cuba with Castro. He looks nothing like PT. The brother, however, does- he’s blond haired and light eye color. I was shocked when I was told this.

@17kcotsdoow86 Canadians visit Cuba very often, as well as the Dominican Republic, so there is nothing strange or unusual in this. In addition, one has only to compare both physiognomies and one can see an undoubted similarity, which is absolutely not observed with Pierre.

@Sandi Hurd - Fidel Castro is the son and grandson of Spaniards from northern Spain, 100% European. It would be somewhat confusing looking at Justin’s DNA because many French and northern Spaniards have similar genetic profiles, so then there’s that.

Bone marrow or dental marrow are what is used for accurate DNA tests. Second choice would be Fidel Castro's old blood stained uniforms. I intuitively sense there may be Fidel's uniform in existance because Fidel Castro dodged so many murder attempts on him, some Cubans say 600 and he was highly worshipped in his time of reign that they saved some of his old uniforms, still stored somewhere in Cuba. The other choice is to compare Justin Trudeau's DNA with his brother and with other known Fidel Castro's sons/daughters and see who is the closest in DNA match.
