I had same issue for my Honda wrv front power window and they made me wait for 3 weeks to get a replacement , luckily it was under warranty so no replacement cost .

I think you're referring to Peninsular Honda. I've owned a 2014 Honda city for 5 years and ran 55K kms. I maintained it at Vision Honda. Their service has always been exceptional. Personalized and professional. I've had poor experiences in Peninsular. It may not be fair to categorise Honda service in general as bad due to one poorly managed service centre. From what I hear you say, it looks like Peninsular is having cash flow issues.
I like the idea of Vivekji. Even I'm more inclined to the hybrid version. While EVs are the future , it might limit certain enthusiasts from pursuing their best interest. Offcourse for motorsport and rally IC engines would still run the show , off-road enthusiasts would find it difficult to chase the trails and mountains with an all electric car. So yes a hybrid would be a best choice for all , but who knows what technology has in hands for us.
I also had a Honda jazz , I too faced pathetic service experience from Muthoot honda kollam ( Muthoot Honda damaged my navigation SD card during periodic service and they billed ₹4500 for that Sd card) & Peninsular Honda Kazhakootam (ivde full udaipm cheyatha karynglk amount medikam) (Nb: Showroom name eduth parnjilel oru mansmadhanm ila 🤗)

I also experienced the same with my Honda Jazz service. One of my tail lamp was broken and I called the service center to enquire about the stock availability. They said there is no stock and I have to pay an advance amount to order one. I paid the advance and they said it will arrive within 10 days but I got it after 21 days. Same time, it was available on Boodmo and the expected delivery time was arouund 7 days. (I didn't face any other issues regarding reliability, happy till now 😊)

Its better they dont sell EVs in India. The only reason people bought suzukis were for its cheap and vast service avalibility. If you were to buy an electric car at the end of the day, why not get any other brand as EVs dont really need much replacement for service and their mileage as of normal fuel cars dont matter.. Its better Maruti dont sell evs in india, at least if it helps the death rate!
I own a '13 city. Been servicing at peninsular honda ekm. No major issues regarding the service yet.. Never experienced a part failure (i have heard that honda quality issues and cost cutting started from 2014 onwards) .
That way I like Hyundai for the service experience. Especially with Popular Hyundai at their Irumbanam service center. My Hyundai Creta's all four power windows failed during the last five years. However, the service team used to repair and give the car back in 15-20 mins. Never faced an issue with them for want of spare parts.
a friend brought a Honda city just before covid, the second day lots of ants started coming out of the gaps below the ac vent. Must have got in while it was the dealers garage, shitty experience though.
About Honda. Trivandrum had 2 dealers now only has one . Almost the same situation with service. My amaze 2019 had a fuel pump recall. experienced delay even for a recalled part . Service experience deteriorating. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the next ford. JD which year is your City ? and do amaze and city share parts😢

Last time when I gave my Honda city for service, they didn't even have engine oil and air filter in stock.. Finally after a couple of days got the oil. But still no luck with air filter. I ended up installing a BMC replacement filter from outside to save the headache.. No more services at Honda again.

They claim to receive 80 to 90 vehicles in a day and this is possibly what led to this situation. Earlier I didn't have any complaints against Peninsular Honda though. I am in a double mind whether to give to them again or find a good and reputed FNG. What do you guys suggest? Would love to hear your thoughts..
Honda is providing 3 years of manufacture warranty, which can be extended to 5 years or even to 10 years (except for tyre, clutch and break pad).So i dont know, why here , he had to pay ?
Interesting my honda city had the same issues with both of my power windows at the rear! That too one under 14k and other under 30k. But my service center was kind enough to replace it under warranty and stock was ready available. Even one ac compressor and steering rack was replaced under warranty before 50k kilometers. After that warranty got over and the starting motor failed unfortunately i had to make payment for that. But parts where in stock except for ac compressor which i had to wait for about two weeks. Not to mention the screen burn / plastic peeling issue with the stock music player it's common for both digipad and non touch screen devices.
On point abt the Range Rover series. What a beautiful range of vehicles over the years! The third gen is my all-time favourite SUV. Those side vents on the non-sport model like a shark’s gill slits. Aaahaaa… And AdrenoX badge maattiyath polichu 🔥 So cool that they are open to feedback and implementing what they can at least.
Same Honda city 2014 model We need a bot change, the TAT is 1month waiting. We had an immobiliser issue the ecu change took 4 weeks. They are saying back order as always
Thank you for the video. I think, now many service centres request part prepayment before ordering parts. I had similar experience with Toyota, Thrissur service center (windshield washer pump for Innova Crysta) and Nexa (Sai) at Ernakulam (rain sensor assembly for S-Cross). However, none of this “current situation” is excuse for TWO glass winder motors going bad at ~ 30kms. Speaks bad of quality.
Took delivery of Honda H'ness. Few meters from showroom the check engine light came on, had to go back. ABS sensor and cable had to be changed on brand new vechile. Half a day gone on first day of ownership. Jazz is holding out better except its shitty to drive. New City had a lot of body roll after they increased clearance and if I go on hilly NH as opposed to NH on plains, it is not comfortable. Hopefully Honda will make amends or maybe they will be ford-ing India :-)

You should mail to Honda . They will call from national support center are resolve this . I Used Honda almost 7 years and never faced any issues . Now I am Facing service issue with my Jeep because of the service center

They said there is no stock and I have to pay an advance amount to order one. I paid the advance and they said it will arrive within 10 days but I got it after 21 days. Same time, it was available on Boodmo and the expected delivery time was arouund 7 days. (I didn't face any other issues regarding reliability, happy till now 😊)

Its better they dont sell EVs in India. The only reason people bought suzukis were for its cheap and vast service avalibility. If you were to buy an electric car at the end of the day, why not get any other brand as EVs dont really need much replacement for service and their mileage as of normal fuel cars dont matter.. Its better Maruti dont sell evs in india, at least if it helps the death rate!
I own a '13 city. Been servicing at peninsular honda ekm. No major issues regarding the service yet.. Never experienced a part failure (i have heard that honda quality issues and cost cutting started from 2014 onwards) .

That way I like Hyundai for the service experience. Especially with Popular Hyundai at their Irumbanam service center. My Hyundai Creta's all four power windows failed during the last five years. However, the service team used to repair and give the car back in 15-20 mins. Never faced an issue with them for want of spare parts.

About Honda. Trivandrum had 2 dealers now only has one . Almost the same situation with service. My amaze 2019 had a fuel pump recall. experienced delay even for a recalled part . Service experience deteriorating. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the next ford. JD which year is your City ? and do amaze and city share parts😢

Last time when I gave my Honda city for service, they didn't even have engine oil and air filter in stock.. Finally after a couple of days got the oil. But still no luck with air filter. I ended up installing a BMC replacement filter from outside to save the headache.. No more services at Honda again.

They claim to receive 80 to 90 vehicles in a day and this is possibly what led to this situation. Earlier I didn't have any complaints against Peninsular Honda though. I am in a double mind whether to give to them again or find a good and reputed FNG. What do you guys suggest? Would love to hear your thoughts..

Honda is providing 3 years of manufacture warranty, which can be extended to 5 years or even to 10 years (except for tyre, clutch and break pad).So i dont know, why here , he had to pay ?

Interesting my honda city had the same issues with both of my power windows at the rear! That too one under 14k and other under 30k. But my service center was kind enough to replace it under warranty and stock was ready available.
Even one ac compressor and steering rack was replaced under warranty before 50k kilometers.
After that warranty got over and the starting motor failed unfortunately i had to make payment for that.
But parts where in stock except for ac compressor which i had to wait for about two weeks.
Not to mention the screen burn / plastic peeling issue with the stock music player it's common for both digipad and non touch screen devices.

Thank you for the video. I think, now many service centres request part prepayment before ordering parts. I had similar experience with Toyota, Thrissur service center (windshield washer pump for Innova Crysta) and Nexa (Sai) at Ernakulam (rain sensor assembly for S-Cross). However, none of this “current situation” is excuse for TWO glass winder motors going bad at ~ 30kms. Speaks bad of quality.

Took delivery of Honda H'ness. Few meters from showroom the check engine light came on, had to go back. ABS sensor and cable had to be changed on brand new vechile. Half a day gone on first day of ownership. Jazz is holding out better except its shitty to drive. New City had a lot of body roll after they increased clearance and if I go on hilly NH as opposed to NH on plains, it is not comfortable. Hopefully Honda will make amends or maybe they will be ford-ing India :-)
