the D Program cleanser and moist lotion is so good for sensitive skin! they both have amazing textures and helped heal my skin barrier. if I'd recommend one over the other, get the moist lotion. I'm so glad I picked it up on a whim while I was in japan a couple months ago. IHADA is also amazing for sensitive skin! i also have the sleeping pack which feels so good on the skin. their medicated balm is holy grail (works like lrp cicaplast with a vaseline texture, good for slugging, and also not pore clogging) as well as the d program moist lotion. I didn't even know these were so popular!
Highly recommend giving the Orbis oil cut powder wash a try if you decide to try out the brand! My aunt recommended it to me and it's my favorite daily cleanser. I usually just buy the refill. I would describe it as powder to oil texture, once its mixed with water it's very smooth but it isn't as fine as some other powder washes so it is a little bit physically exfoliating. I find that it cleans without feeling squeaky clean or leaving any film residue!
A lot of Japanese youtubers I watch use that Attenir cleansing oil. Fancl is my pick for cleansing oil. I remember the cosme decorte powder was really popular years ago but I didn't think it still was as no one really talks about it much anymore in the Japanese makeup youtuber community. I used to use Elixir, Kanebo and Orbis when I lived in Japan as they are not as expensive there compared to buying them online from abroad
Waiting to hear your thought about D program toner. I’m interested to try it and that I’m currently using the IPSA one. The comparison between the tow would be so helpful, thanks.
Shu Uemura cleansing oil used to be my “treat” purchase. I loved it. Sadly, they withdrew the beauty side from the UK and it’s a bit too expensive even as a treat now. Some of the artist collaboration bottles were beautiful as well. Weirdly, the haircare range is still available here though.
So interesting! Thank you for talking through the rankings - I take an occasional peep at their page when I get to shopping, but for non-Japanese person it’s overwhelming for sure 😁
I am definitely going to check out decorte, elixir and other mid-range products when i visit. I think they cater to my 40 year old skin but they arent so widely available here in Europe.
I have a question for all of you beauties❤Does anyone know how to get the Donki online store to translate to English??!! I'd LOVE to try these products, but I can't understand a word on the website 🤬
The Ultimune serum is more of an antioxidant serum. It made my skin feel soft and made the next products absorb better (similar to Sulwhasoo First Care or Lancome Advanced Genefique)
Hi Tina can you recommend or make a video on hair products? My hair is bleached and colored like your hair color. I want to use Japanese brand shampoo that’s color friendly. Please recommend! Thank you❤
Loved your reactions to the products you've never heard of before haha. Could you do another video going through the best hair care and body care categories please? :)
I feel like the emulsion before toner has been around for a long time. I tried it over ten years ago with Albion, so I believe it was more common in high end lines. I think I also did that with my Shiseido Ginza products.
I use kanebo line and went on shopping haul whenever I visit Japan (so cheap there and they give samples generously). Hope you can try and review kanebo line, I want to hear your opinion ❤
Tina is the fwee 3D volumizing gloss the only colored product you have on your lips? It looks so beautiful on you! I would have expected it to be brown from the marketing pics, so I never would have chosen it!
I've been so curious about the decorte tinted sunscreen since it always ranks so highly. I get the feeling that jp cosmetics tend to be more drying because it's so humid there 26:19 I see this all the time at asian cosmetics stores + random japanese groceries! Can't really afford house of dohwa atm so I may try this first 👀
Ooh could you do a more detailed video on eyelash serums? I hear the western ones are good but a lot of them have an ingredient called postglandin(?) which can mess up your eye area and i was wondering if the japanese ones have the same ingredients and the mechanics of how they are different(if theres any difference) 😊
Have you done any procedures on your face? Like Botox? Just wondering, can you make a video of procedures you've gotten done on your face like laser facials or any of that sort if you have had anything done? Thanks!
@@noerisgil754 tbh I’ve never had anything of the sort done 😬 I talked about it briefly in this video: ruclips.net/video/l06oEIjR5EQ/видео.htmlsi=vb_6rF8aOTUpU22q In the ‘skin history’ section if you’re curious 😌
@@TinaTanakaHarris Thank you, the fact that you haven't done anything to your face is amazing! I could have sworn you at least did botox because your forehead is perfection! You have beautiful skin!
Tina Help Please!!! I love your videos and need your help. I just moved to Thailand and I’m having to repurchase all of my hair tools. Can you please do a video on best Japanese hair tools! (Blow dryer, flat iron, curler, heat spray, etc!) They’re cheap and abundant here but as a curly girl who heat styles, I need good ones! TIA!! ❤️❤️
Hmmm, it seems like there were really pushing a few brands by having a product from them in many of the categories. To not have the Biodance hydrogel mask in there is crazy. They have sold so many around the world, and I'm sure in Japan too.
What's up with Japan's love of soap-based cleansers lately? There used to be so many more popular soap-free options. Now they all contain soap and are just drying af. For some reason it seems like only the self-foaming versions are soap-free nowadays.
Oh true… I didn’t realise until now also - but it wasn’t in the skincare section? Maybe it was in the ‘base makeup’ section… Tbh I really don’t like the way @cosme ranks their spfs because they separate it by ‘face’ and ‘body’ - but they include primers that include any bit of spf for face category, which I personally would not consider a ‘true sunscreen product’ 😤
And we need more reviews on Japanese sunscreens based on your haul this year from japan.
always thought the @cosme rankings were kinda whack when looking from a non japanese POV 😂 great video again Tina!
That was fun! Thanks and hope to see more of these in the future! Happy holidays
Thanks for going over the Cosme awards especially since I can't read Japanese and online they don't give much info with pics.

Tina, whenever I watch your videos, I always have to volume up. Cause I realize when the ads pop up, they are so loud, compare yo your voice volume.

The NARS blushes were reformulated this year (I think to be talc free), so that’s how it can be considered a new comer.
Going to Tokyo in 2 hours so you are right on time!

Biodance mask is hyped outside Asia, even in Korea they prefer other brands of this type of mask, just like anua cleansing oil.
I can tell you biodance is not popular in China
I bought decorte just because of ohtani lol
