Foot tapping, head nodding 100mph beats with exemplary lyrics to match. Sadly, not long after these first couple of albums, when they became chart toppers, producers got involved and their signature style was dialled down, slowed down and over-produced. Shame. Similar story with the band Dorothy. Raw first album, utterly brilliant, second album just soft. A shame, because Dorothy the lead singer has an amazing style that suits raw more than produced. Wider audience appeal in both cases I suppose.
