Thank you so much for watching this Poco X5 Pro Camera Test! Please leave a comment with any questions you have about the X5 Pro, X4 GT, F4, or Pixel 6a! You can also just ask about other phone related things . . . just not the weather--I don't want to talk about that. It's awfully cold outside though.
I enjoyed this comparison a lot and thank you for including some GCAM shots as well! I currently own the Pixel 6 Pro and I still use GCAM on it, because HDRNet ruined the texture processing on the newer Pixels, and I much prefer older HDR+ algorithm
I was always curious to see how budget phones with big sensors with gcam processing would perform against a real Pixel or other flagships and you did that very well. love your content.
Hello Souticksamanta! I'm so glad you like it! I feel the same, GCam is a game changer for many devices -- depending on the port. I'm planning on picking up the 7a when it comes out this summer and I hope Google moves the vanilla Pixel 7 cameras to that device.
I used the gcam port two you've provided. Loving how natural the color looks in gcam. The high contrast stock cam of x5pro look pleasing at times but does overdo the job many times. Gcam literally made it balance. Not just color but also the detail as well. Was looking for a suitable port. Thanks.
Hello Giardintek! Just based on the stabilization from the video samples I got, I feel confident that it does have EIS. I'm not sure why that's not listed, that's strange.
@@phonecomp in my experience with poco x5 pro - Default Gcam give unsaturated colors. lmc fixes that and works good, and it's easy to find additional configs. Sadly if I load lmc config - wide and macro camera crash the app.
I have some trouble in choosing the poco phones between the F5 and X5 Pro. In my country there's only 30 dollars difference between the two. I have heard that Poco X5 Pro does better photos but F5 have better specs overall. Which would you recommend for long term use? I'd choose the F5 for the chipset because it'll last more because of the performance it offers, but I need good shots too. So, is it better to just get the F5 or just go with the X5 Pro?
Hello Wisking! I'd go with the F5 at that price point. Definitely a device that should last longer and perform better, and if you find a well tuned GCam port--your camera should generally perform better than the X5 Pro.
Hello Luistan! I would suggest the F4. Build materials feel more premium, and camera hardware is definitely improved. Or the Pixel 6a, if it's available in your region.
i think the 4 comparisons is better, i dont think anyone is doing that. would be nice to throw in an iphone 14 regular, when you do 4 slides, then part2 of the other 4 slides. the 8 total slides split in 2, is quite unique comparisons. def like it
Hello Patrick! The F4 has a better display, but rarely is it noticeable. The F4's brightness is better outdoors, but really both are totally acceptable. The X5 Pro screen still looks better than the Pixel 6a too.
Hello Addie! It's laggy for me as well, but that was still the best port I could find. There aren't many ports that work well with mediatek powered phones sadly.
Thank you for this video, however, it would have been nice to actually guide people on what to do when they land on these links to download the GCam port. There are 5 different links on each page and it isn't very clear, since the author of the port is assuming that we all are Android developers and we know which one we need. Can you clarify a bit? Thank you
Hello D-phrag! In my experience it rarely matters which link you use and often the only thing that is different between the links is the file name. But generally the "Snap" version is what I use, unless it's a Samsung device. Fortunately, if you install a port that does not work properly, all you need to do is uninstall then try a different link. Just be careful about links from sites that aren't XDA or Celsoazevedo. I'll try to specify the exact link on each port in the future--good point.
@@phonecomp thank you very much for taking your time to respond, much appreciated. I will test as the one I have installed is basically taking good snaps, they're just really destaurated. Thanks again!
Hello Shri, GCam with working stabilization can be hard to find. It seems to be a buggy feature. Unfortunately, my best suggestion is to test out some different ports or check X5 Pro forums to see if anyone knows of a working GCam port with stabilization. I no longer have the device in for testing sadly.
Hello Dmitriyp! For demanding games (or just gaming for more than 20 minutes at a time)--the F4 wins. For a bigger brighter faster display--F4 wins. For faster charging and slightly longer battery life--F4. For cameras--Pixel (unless you need to record 4k video for a while, then it might overheat). For software performance, features, and uodates--Pixel. If you want an in-display fingerprint sensor--Pixel. It's a tough choice honestly. I have both and I game with the Poco (emulators mostly, and not very often), but I keep my sim in the Pixel most of the time. I like the ability to use third party launchers with navigation gestures and the Poco will not let you do that. Also, I rarely need the extra screen brightness from the Poco. I hope that helps!
@@dmitriyp6582 I haven't been able to test the 9Pro+, but I know it runs a weaker processor and lower tier screen than the F4. From what I remember the camera quality was very good though, so if you specifically want the better camera probably go with the Realme.
Your video is too confusing when watching. You may refer to other YouTtuber that has done similar video with better presentation. Hope you make progress.
@@phonecomp Well you have use multiple different phone on different set of photography, it make me very confuse which is which. The purpose of the video is to give us an idea for quality comparison. I didn't even know what is GCam, and got myself figuring it out by googling. Well if your video is only for pro which is a small number maybe is ok but if you want wider view range of people maybe make it more simple to digest maybe? And you video was shaking most of the time, idk if that make you feel good watching. I do understand the effort of making good video is not easy and i see your effort. I'm just pointing out something that you may improve, nothing personal. Hope it helps and keep going man!
Leave xiaomis and buy a cheap pixel people. Pixels are way better phones. And man strop comparing s23 ultra with trashes. We both knowing that s23 ultra is on another league. You forgot to mension that pixel 6a has a way better cpu next to trash poco x5 pro. And of course pixel 6a has ufs 3.1 vs 2.2 on poco. So if you need a slow buggy phone, with a bad overall camera and with a battery that can last more, then go for poco. But if you need a completely fast phone with really good camera, trash fingerprint reader and a trash battery then pixel 6a is for you.
X5 or X5 Pro? I haven't tested the X5 yet, but the X5 Pro performed fine in my teeting, especially with GCam. At this price point you usually don't get amazing cameras, unless you go with the Pixel.
