you see the love for Jack Johnosn is organic. Not consipired. Many many many people heard his music seperately and that genuine voice, and said.... "yep... that's what I've been waiting for." Many of us even tried to keep him secret... i know I did. greedy greedy. but it's that good...something you just wish was yours alone. The first time I heard him, i thought, "this dude is singing the songs I havent written yet ".
Jack Johnson always inspires me to be a better person. I really wish half the kids my age weren't so obsessed with all the computer- generated music out there & would learn to appreciate songs like this. (yes, i know he didn't write this.. but all his songs apply anyways)
some people think his music is too simple and not worth much. They dont understand the beauty of not doing too much. The simpleness that captures the moment, and does not pervert it. "unintrusive tones".
I would love it if Jack made an entire Christmas album with him covering most of the traditional songs, and then he could donate the money he makes off of it to a charity :) But I would love to hear him do other Christmas and holiday songs
