There is no rocket science behind these because they were developed by simple farmers, simple men of the land oppressed by feudal goons the samurais. The word NINJA, loosely translate's to Assassin. No one Ninja can perform any and all of the various thing's that NINJA's are reported to entail. It's a physical impossibility to be able to do, carry, imploy any and all of the various weapon's, equipment, physical, and techniques; Associated with Ninja's by a lone Ninja. As a History Teacher, most of what's "known" about the ninja is Secondary or Tertiary Source, BUT the Martial Art of Ninjutsu/Shinobi acts as Primary Source, and it's different enough and precise enough when compared to Japanese Sumo and Jiu-jitsu to reason that one trained in it would have been a hell of a handful. Also, their tactic of "Get in, get out, fuck honour, disable anyone chasing you just get away safe" rattles armies with too-rigid rules.

Just as no man is a stranger if you believe in him harmony and peace and good. The same for evil. It is a compliment to its self in its way. Same for fear. Same for poison. Some things cannot be survived if you do not know harmony with them. It is principled to consumate the marriage and union of all things. Even poison. Or great and terrible power. Also the fulness of truth and harmony that has not named any one thing. So as evil and good should not be known above all. To argue worth or a letter of a name is war and peace but is not the truth of harmony. There are many greater and lesser ways of the ninja. Maybe even the ninja does not know them all? It is okay. There is no need to worry. A life is like a tree. Even when it is cut down its life was not its own. It's shadow has not been cut down or raised. The world is the all and without it no being can stand. Even the great and little bird must land. A duck must eat. A fish must sleep and is eaten and dies. The water must have movement to live and still it is lost to the wind and sun and flies. Did you know water can fly? It is so. I believe we are universality. All is all. This is a grand experience and an interesting opportunity. I think everyone experiences these truths and they cannot be avoided or neglected at all. That is harmonies effect. Choices can be made. Sometimes that is good and sometimes it is not good. But it does not change us as long as we survive. Judgement has become a bit of a controversy and a mask of pain and suffering and poison. That is still a ninja skill and use. Judgement can be anything. Peace starts with the self and the world. Judgement could be done from within. It takes a keen eye and mind to understand the world and its ways and not be swept up in assimilations of the industries and that is okay too. What goes to creation or destruction is for its self wise in its own way and experience and harmony will succeed them for it is not undone. Think and realize these things and give grace and wisdom to the creators of systems and industry and government. They are very ancient not new and complex as many seem to think. Realize the ninja cannot die. The ninja belong to the world and self and will always be. As long as the rabbit hops. The snake slithers. The fly flies. As long as the rock is still. The tree stands and grows old and returns to the ground. There will be the ninja. Man and woman and child. The universal mind is all beings. We come and go in form and to some in disguise. A great fish, a great tree, a river, a stone, a dog, a whale, a bird, even water. Our ways are the way and our shadow is our light and our lives are carried along in harmony according to time and the universe's allowance and processes and this is the way of things. So it is.

The word NINJA, loosely translate's to Assassin. No one Ninja can perform any and all of the various thing's that NINJA's are reported to entail. It's a physical impossibility to be able to do, carry, imploy any and all of the various weapon's, equipment, physical, and techniques; Associated with Ninja's by a lone Ninja.
Those wealthy enough to afford the service's of one or more Ninja's. Either hired them on an individual bases or maintiained a few as they did other employee's. If and when a wealthy person, had an issue with another. They would send one or more to do their bidding, which then caused the one they had issue's with, various concern's in regards to the chaos and death's. They were informed to do by the one paying and send them on their various asignment's. Much in the same way, those that can afford it, will hire what's in the West, we refer to as a "Hitman". Whom based on the need's to carry out the asignment his/her employer desired. Would determine the best stratagy and either do it him/her self and or hire other's to assit them in the endevor. But the folklore of the Ninja, being able to do any and everything possible and impossible. Is just that, folklore.
It would be interesting to see a ninja go against special forces in a jungle scenario, to see who can hide and move around the best while taking out the enemy.
It depends. If it is a member of the Brazilian Special Forces who happens to be a graduate of their jungle warfare school, and who actually patrols (and lives) in the jungle most times, then the outcome is decided by how practiced a "ninja" would be in the same environment.

If I remember correctly, the idea of the ninja wearing black comes from the Japanese "Noh" theatre with no curtains, where stagehands would be dressed in black to signify "ignore me, I'm not an actor" when they changed the set between acts. So when a dressed in black person "assassinated" an actor playing a Samurai it would be like WAIT AN INVISIBLE ATTACKER. This was observed by a French diplomat to Japan in the early 1800s who then wrote about "ninjas dress in black and are invisible assassins!" when really it represented the ninja being a Trusted Servant.
Literally 1000s of historical texts, depictions and records of Ninja being used in Japan during the reign of the Samurai.

The same issue occurrs with modern day troops. Do Navy SEALs exist? Yes, of course. But are they all 6-foot tall mountains with superb marksmanship, able to breathe underwater for 6 minutes at a time, able to run 50 miles a day with a comrade on their back, able to beat an entire bar's worth of rednecks in a bad mood? Whilst multiple books and films portray them that way, this doesn't mean that that's how they all are. Impressive? Sure. Superhuman? No.
@@nimascolari1508 Which isn't to say the ninja didn't exist, or that they weren't very impressive. As a History Teacher, most of what's "known" about the ninja is Secondary or Tertiary Source, BUT the Martial Art of Ninjutsu/Shinobi acts as Primary Source, and it's different enough and precise enough when compared to Japanese Sumo and Jiu-jitsu to reason that one trained in it would have been a hell of a handful. Also, their tactic of "Get in, get out, fuck honour, disable anyone chasing you just get away safe" rattles armies with too-rigid rules.
