I can actually say that I went through the same thing. First subcompact gun I bought was a Glock 26 and then ended up selling it. Long story short, I picked up another 26 and I love it even more. I came full circle too, lol.
This gun is the epitome of versatility...with all the different glock mags and accessories that you can get for it..and really shoots like a bigger gun
Glock 26, the best concealed carry gun which comes with three 10-Round magazines. It's also compatible with Glock 19 and Glock 17 magazines, so you can increase the capacity by swapping magazines.
the 26 was the first gun I ever got specifically for concealed carry, and I carried one for a long time, I still do on occasion, but i find that most of the time the 19 rides just as good, also I enjoy shooting my 19 way more, so I practice more with it, and I think thats the best thing about the change for me, ill never sell my 26 however, she's been a real peach to me over the years
My 1st Glock was a 19,,I love it. 2nd Glock a 30sf. I also have a 26 now. You cant beat the Glock 26 for EDC. Carry 2 spare mags,,,if 30 rounds is not enough,,your probably fucked..!
@@paulangelobarcajr.840 at least i always carry an extendo in mine + a spare 17rd with me, and its easy to conceal the extendo just had to find a diagonal hip holster to make the 33rd mag stay totally upwards, so i disappears behind the shirt easily

I carved my proverbial teeth with my 26g4 and to this day it still reigns supreme among my entire lineup. IMHO its the best overall “do everything” handgun.
I recently picked up a 26 and I must admit that it feels like I've returned home after being away for a while. Learning to shoot on the 19 so many years ago must have brainwashed a special kind of appreciation for Glock. I have grown very fond of SIG and other manufacturers like Baretta. But, when I shoot any Glock it's like I'm hanging out with my best friends. It's laid back and comfortable and everyone has a great time.
After looking at different sub compacts like the MP Shield, Shield Plus, 43x, Hellcat, P365, G26 and others, it came down to the the 43X and G26. I loved the feel of the 43X. Shot better with it too. My decision landed on the G26 was the magazine compatibility and capacity. The XGRIP for the G19 mags is great and I use 12 rd baseplates. When I saw a deal for a Gen5 with 10rd x10 mags with night sights for UNDER $400, I knew it was meant to be! Got used to the fat grip and I shoot it just fine now (at least within 5yds).
The G43x with the Shield Arms S15 Mag is much better in my opinion. The G26 is basically like you’re carrying a Glock 19 because it’s so fat, and not much smaller. The S15 Mag let’s you hold 15 rounds in a single stack. I also like the regular G43 with the +2 Magguts extension. I wish they made a +3.
Matthew G. It’s true that the 26 is a chunky little monkey but that allows it to use all the double stack 9mm mags and to some people that’s everything. I would hate to have to cross that line and be limited to single stack mags.
I've had a G26 for 12+ years and these days it's my wife's defensive piece. Great little gun. I shot it just as well as any of my my other GLOCKS that are bigger. Thanks for the video brother!
It’s funny how great they shoot when you have the right grip. Lesson learned on my part, lol. Glad yours is running well for you brother. Thank you and cheers!
@10MMTEXAN I found a little short redheaded girl that always will be faithful and be & good hunting partner oh, and she even swims and goes and gets my ducks
10MMTEXAN very false my dude lost a freind right in front of my eyes do to his gun jamming and he regularly cleaned his GLOCK🤷🏽♂️ thank god everyday the bullet that struck me in my shoulder that traveled to my back missed my heart by a centimeter.
I take your point but I have read that it's sometimes necessary to change the extractor when moving between the 9mm and 40 calibre case sizes. Do you have any info on this?
My wifey and I have owned our G-26's since 2011, and we learned about the +2's from the beginning. We've added them to all of our mags. Don't want to deal with a gun like this WITHOUT IT! No thanks, pinky swing....nope! +2 oh yeah!
Considering my duty weapon is a G17, this is a natural backup. I have magazine interchangeableilty (use that word in scrabble) but it's true. I carry mine in a pocket with the standard 10rd mag. It is a backup that if needed can be fed with my full size mags.
I have the G27 so since she can take 40, 9mm and 357 sig I never get bored with her, it almost feels like cheating when I switch barrels. I just tell her shes role playing
I have a 26 and a 29 for carry. Both are fantastic pistols and the 29 handles really well. I do have a couple X-Grips For a 17rd mag; very versatile platform.
I’ve used Glocks for most all my law enforcement career. Now retired. I carry a G26 for concealed carry and I love it. Also have a G17 as a full size and an AR9 that takes 32 round Glock mags. Interchangeability of magazines a big plus. No other pistol system does this. Extremely reliable.
This is absolutely true. Back in the early 90s I was psyched about Glock, and bought two of them (Gen 2, I believe). Shot them a lot, carried them, but just wasn't happy about my ability to keep groups tight with them, so within a few years, I sold both of them, and moved on to Sigs, then others, and settled on 1911s and S&W (and sometimes Colt) double action revolvers for carry. In the early 2000s I tried a Glock again, and still had the same complaint, so sold it. I really wanted to like Glocks, but couldn't. About four years ago I gave it another try with a Gen 4 Glock 17, but this time really focused on developing proper technique. Lo and behold, within practically no time I was shooting it pretty darn well. Since then, that's been my daily carry, and I'm a real Glock fan now. So, yes, it's often the shooter, and not the gun.
I carry the 43X and prefer the grip but I think the 26 is a more versatile option. Being a double stack Glock there are all kinds of mags available for it. Great gun for someone who wants one gun to carry that can also be a good house gun.
33 Year LEO, I use my Glock 26 Gen 4 as a backup gun and it's a great shooter plus it will except my larger G17 Mags. I shoot it with great accuracy with the flush magazine / Downside of the G26 is the weight but I think that adds to the accuracy / Only modification is Ameriglo Night Sights. ( My Agency Does NOT Allow Changing Trigger or Any Internal Parts )
I had a G27 but never really got into the gun and decided that I wasn't going to mess with conversions and using 9mm in it. Now I'm thinking about picking up a G26. Caliber can make all the difference in the world on some platforms. I had a G30 with reliability issues but my G29sf has never hiccuped. Think I'll give the 26 a go.
I'm glad you came to your senses and realized what you had with the G26. I really like the G26 and what surprised me was that I inexplicably shoot better with the 26 than the 17 or 19. For me it's the ideal carry gun too.
Hey KS! It's about time you came to your senses. With it's proven track record and being slightly more concealable than a G19, the G26 is still more than relevant. It's a winner and a go to for many as their choice for personal defense. I have huge hands, so I initially stayed away from getting a G26. But now that I bought one, I'm glad I did. There's the magazine options you pointed out which helps with grip, but training with your CCW is the bottom line. Merry Christmas, brother! 🎁 Cheers!!! 🍻 😎👍🏻🇺🇸💥
I’m always late to the party Milehigh! I completely agree with you about many still using the 26, just by the comments on this video alone. Merry Christmas to you and yours brother. Thank you and cheers!
I'm one of the ones who gave up, then came back to the G26. Not exactly sure why I initially sold my 26 (probably just wanted another gun) but a few months ago I traded for one (gen 3) and I think it's amazing. I still carry my 365 or Shield on the regular, but for fall/winter jacket carry when I don't care about the thickness, the G26 goes every time.
Yup G26 Gen5 kicks ass. I don’t like Glocks... I’m a S&W guy through and through. Own 5 Smith pistols. BUT I carry a G26. Wife carries a G42. They work. They fit. I trust them with our lives. My first pistol was a G17. I hated it and Glocks once I started shooting Smiths. I came full circle and found what we needed for concealed carry guns. Glock...
I'm an HK fanboy and proud of it! I love my 10+1 P30sk/VP9sk. They are extremely versatile and can receive the 13-15 rd mags (specific to the piece) as well as the 15 rd magazines from their big brothers the P30/VP9. Well, the G26 can do the same thing with the G19 mags. However, the G26 is a little smaller and lighter than my HKs previously mentioned. So, I carry it quite a bit in my EDC rotation. I love its concealability as well. Great piece!
My favorite overall handgun. Value is hard to beat. Accuracy has never been an issue. I got it fully customized. Yeah my ring and pinky finger lack in grip but my overall grip strength make up for it. It pays to lift heavy weights in the gym in terms of grip strength and accuracy. Love this gun.
I’ve had my G26 since 2002. My back up weapon. I wasn’t to crazy about it at first either. But when I found some replacements parts. In particular the slide lock and slide release were replaced I fell in love with it. When the 43x came out I had to have one.... so I do... But they’re both gr8 carry weapons. That’s all I carry is one of my Glocks.... Jeff
I just can't stand my pinky hanging over and not getting a full grip. Plus an old hand injury makes it even worse. And if you use the grip extender it's the same size as a 19 so I just go with the 19.
Back in the days before social media, people would settle on something and commit. There was no such thing as FOMO and there was value in knowing something (or someone for that matter Lol) well; intimately. I am actually going to start looking for the cleanest G4 26 I can find so that someday I can replace my 2012 one. Practice does not make perfect, it makes predictability. Proficiency boarding excellence cannot be achieved by constantly chasing the new.
I had to get over the pinky situation cause I edc the g26 without an extension. Other than that I think this is fantastic gun. Its integral to my edc rotation especially in warm weather. Surprisingly, it’s accurate and it manages recoil very well. 5/5(aftermarket sights needed for this score)
It just became my backup gun on my support hand side today. I have a Glock 45 as primary weapon. I was ready to sell my Gen 4 & Gen 5 26 and I decided to keep my Gen 5 as back up gun running 12 round OEM mag.
@KSGunGuy - I recently purchased a G26 gen 5 with Ameriglo sights. I'm not a fanboy but I am really liking the G26. Actually shooting it better than the G19FS that I had. Question: The Glock 19x has an aspect ratio between the shorter slide and longer grip that makes it so well balanced to shoot. I'd like to see if I can achieve the same balance with the 26. Do you think that to achieve this I would need the mag from the G19 or G17? Many thanks and cheers!
Great question MD! To achieve the same balance as the 19x (shorter slide, longer grip), you are right. You need a longer mag but then also a mag sleeve that emulates the grip so you can take full advantage of the extension. Then, you basically have the 26x. Thank you and cheers!
The glock 26 is awesome and has been around for a long time. I still carry mine and love it. Plus it fits my glock 19 holsters. I don't trust that little sig either.
Ironically, the P209RC which the P365 replaced, is actually significantly smaller - albeit w/o the 10 rounds. But try to find one new - it was discontinued. The P938 is still made & is smaller than the G26. Plus the CM9 is pretty dang small too if you don't have issues with owning a Kahr. And of course, if you have the room, the G26 is a contender for sure. I've also heard rumors that we might see P365 sim-to models from other mfrs at SHOT. Only time will tell.
Glock 26 is the best all around compact handgun. It's not a subcompact anymore lol. Especially since you can conceal it then switch to a back up mag of 12, 15, 17, 33, and now 40 round magazine. It's the most diverse of them all. Good camping gun to.
I have a g43, g43x, g29sf, g20 & g26 yet I find myself always leaning on my 26. Its great rocking the single stack models and the gun being invincible, but you just cannot beat the g26 form factor. It feels so right. I can't convince myself to carry anything else
I carry a glock 26 and have been thinking about getting another carry gun since I had a little money set aside and my thought process pretty much goes. I need that glock 19..well I've got a 15 rnd extension for it..well I need that S&W M&P compact 2.0...well, thats kinda like a glock 19....then I need that Walther PPQ...well I probably won't carry it concealed in the warm weather months.....well maybe I don't need to buy another gun.
I have a Glock 26 gen 3 and I love it and this is coming from a guy who use to hate glocks... But now outta all my guns the G26 is my favorite to carry
I’m giving my ole boy 26 a breather now for a single stack. And I gotta say the single stack conceals a wee bit better live in the south we don’t get winter carry lol
Yeah, I was never a Glock guy. But the 26 has won me over. My preference is for the 10 rounder with just the pinky or +1 extension to keep[the low profile and improve the grip. The 26 is just a fantastic conceal carry option, that has oddly become way too overlooked. Funny, part is the journey to the 26 started with the Steyr S40. After that, I blame you KS and the overhype for the P365. LoL. Now I can definitely see a few more in my future. If only P80 would come out with a PF940SCL. 19 slide on a 26 frame with a longer pic rail sounds really good.
I am happy to contribute to the madness brother! I agree that the 26 is a great carry option. It’s basically as comfortable as most single stacks. I bet they will eventually do the 19 slide on the 26 frame. I would be down for that too! Thank you and cheers brother!
This is way off topic, I usually just go shooting in the desert of west Texas but why do the targets spin when the reel back to you? just wondering =) Thanks for the video!
Good choice love my 26 takes every mag I own already for my 19. I run a couple mags with the Glock +2 running Wolff +10% mag springs. No failure to feed over 1000 rounds although my mags with factory springs have been just as reliable just some of them rattle when out of the pistol.
You can also put a g19 bbl in the 26 to give it a boost in FPS, pair it with a g19 mag with x-grip adapter and you have a G19 with a bobbed grip= very comfortable.
Nailed it, my ccw has been the G26 for years (gen3) always searching for a “replacement” Hk VP9 SK, CZ Rami 2075, smaller Sig’s, but I always go back to the G26, it’s dialed in and I shoot it well. Talon rubber grips, pmag +2 (full grip feel) mag & TFO sights front&back. It’s a 100% work horse “everything” gun. I’ve got others for fun, but I don’t leave home with out it. Thanks for posting!👍🏼
That’s awesome! You mentioned some other great guns and it’s always tough to choose. The 26 has been very impressive lately though. Thank you and cheers!
Dennis Actually the XDs 9mm is my summer carry. It’s a fantastic fit for me as well, i like the ergonomics, grip and fiber optic sight. Definitely my favorite single stack ccw 👍🏼 ruclips.net/video/XbQJy5dN8aw/видео.html
Douglas yeah I have the glock 19. I thought about getting me an XD. One of the main reasons is because that extra safety. Now after watching that video I might get one.
How do you feel about the erratic ejection pattern from the gen 4, looks like a bunch of brass hit you in the arm upon ejection? This has been my issue with Glock lately.
Yes, some brass hit my arm which can be frustrating but not a show stopper. It’s a new gun and there is a little wear on the parts that needs to occur. I find that about 500 or so rounds in, gen 4 Glocks eject just fine. Thankfully, nothing was inhibiting the function or hitting me in the face. If either of those were happening, it would be a serious issue. Thank you and cheers!
Bought the G26 the day it came out . I’ve Carried it now for 4 generations. The G43X has been on my hip allot lately but there will always be a place for the 26. Still the all time best ! And the most accurate pistol I own outa 9 other opinions .
Getting one tomorrow, my Glock 19 is my carry, it’s prints a tad too much. Need a smaller Glock and the right holster. Any recommendations? Looking at the tier 1 concealed echo and tenicor certum 3
It's odd that you say you've come back full circle. Recently this past Nov 2018 my lovely wife treated me to a DAY at the Range. At that time I was carrying a Glock 19 and my wive went with me that day ( that in itself was a birthday present) but due to the ergonomics of the G 19 she was unable to shoot it well and very disheartened. The range that we was at rents guns and I told her to go rent a Glock 43. Which turned out to be the best advice I ever give her because she liked it so much that I want up getting her one that afternoon. But that was the first time I ever shot a g43 and when I started my concealed carry Quest shall we say. I started with a Smith & Wesson shield 40 Smith & Wesson and later got the 9 mm version. Now I have to admit other than shooting at some cans with my defense ammo I never really fired either one of those shields on paper. So I was so impressed with g43 in the way I was able to shoot it as well as my wife, I got to thinking about the Smith & Wesson 9mm again and how I never really give it a chance. Taking a leap of faith I traded my g19 in for a brand new Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 2.0 in 9 mm. So I too came back full circle to where I began. Took that 9 mm Shield to the range later that afternoon and was completely and utterly shocked how proficient I actually was with the gun.
Thinking about making the switch from my S&W M&P 9 to the G26 for deep concealment. I was gonna buy a shield, but I'd prefer capacity over slightly less printing.
Looking for a gun. Never owned one before but I'm wanting to buy one. I want a glock, something with comfortable grip, small and easy to conceal. I was looking at the 26 any suggestions?
If you like the +2 base plate, you should check out magpul's 12rd mags for the 26. They're just a bit shorter and conceal that much better. You still get that full grip feel without sacrificing anything.
Hi And tx for the video. I would like to consult about a better choose... Glock 26 vs M&P 9 3.6"... What would you choose ? From which one you're getting more ? Both are better to concealed than 19/ 9 4"... Thank you !
See my post above - 3.6 compact all the way. It is superior and costs less. You won't have to upgrade the trigger. I was a committed Glock guy until I shot the Smith. Rent both of them to see for yourself.
I carry a canik SC. Which conceals well with the 12 round mag, also comes with a 15, and is compatible with canik 18 and 20 round mags. Same concept, but it was 400 out the door, and is optic ready, with a fantastic trigger
greetings, in the video at about 1:40 you bring forward another pistol, you state it is a legion? could you please give more information on that - I really like the slide and the cut out and the fluted barrel with thread and also the comp, just lots about it though I dont hear you much into it. Thank you.
I never really gave the 26 a chance. I was a g19 guy then I went with s 43 for ccw. The 43 is kinda hard to be efficient with so I'm buying a 26 I'm sure I'll love it.
I have carried my G26 for 9 years now and its great! But its not an Ugly gun like some People say! I dont know if they say that because somehow it makes them sound cool like they really no what they are talking about? My question to you is why the red dot but you still use the sights?
It’s a great gun indeed! As for the red dot, having the option to co-witness can be a real advantage if the dot fails for some reason. Thank you and cheers!
When I first got my Conceal Carry License years ago, I bought a 26 and that was my first carry gun... I then went to single stack because of comfort and sold the 26. Now that I carry a 19X, I think I need to explore getting a 26 again before next summer as I don't see myself carrying the 19X with a t-shirt.
I hear you on the T-shirt thing. I rely on the Shield for that reason. That said, the 26 may be making its way back in the rotation soon. Thank you and cheers Mike!
Look into a Taurus G2c. I sold my glock 26 gen 3 because of it. I know what you're thinking "ew, Taurus". But it's a whole different animal from the stigma of Taurus auto failure. Mine now has over 500 rounds of steel case fmj, high end jhp's and standard brass fmj through it with no issue. The first round fired is a little dicey because of the trigger take-up, but I prefer to ride the reset while shooting and train accordingly. The reset is on par with most high end strikers as well as the trigger break as well. Just some food for thought on options. I really enjoy shooting the G2c and it hasn't shown me any reason not to trust it. Accuracy is imperative and the fully adjustable sights make it almost impossible to miss.
@@KSGunGuy01 hang on I have to fanboy-out for a second here and say OMGOMGOMG KSGUNGUY gave me a Reply! Now that that's out of the way, I genuinely feel that the g2c is a top contender and with the price point well under $300, even as a range gun it's a lot of fun. Thanks for the vids KS!
First, I really enjoy your vids!! Excellent content, and always insightful and practical!! Second (and last), I was a hardcore 26 fanboy for many years (Gens 3 & 4). All that changed when the 43X came out!! What a shooter! Everything about it was an improvement over the 26. Not least of all was the joy of no more "pinky pinch, blood blisters" from the Pearce grip extensions!! Anyway, great work on this video, and no doubt, the remaining 26 fans appreciated your comments. Blessings on your continued content!!
And the Glock 26X is born! With the extension on the 26, the 26 and 19 are about the same length. It is comfy for the range but not super practical for concealment. It's a hall of famer nonetheless because of its versatility with mags, reliability, etc as you have shown.
Haha! Those extensions really help. Not sure I care to even bother with the 10 rounder, but I do agree that you get into 19 territory when you add the plus 2. Thank you and cheers Jeff!
Ive probably switched 35-40 guns for concealed carry. During that time the Glock26 and 19 held maybe 15 of those positions. Finally about 4 years ago I settled down with a Glock26 with a 19 barrel and a +2 magazine. Doubt I'll ever switch again.
I still own a Gen 2 G19, a first & second generation G26, and a G43. I shoot the G 26 the best out of all of them fo one star he reason but it is very confidence inspiring when carrying one as a daily carry backed up by a 19 round & 33 round mag. My G43 is my least favorite but it is a decent pocket gun or something I can leave in the truck.
I really want this gun. It would be my first. I just moved to a new state from California and live alone. I feel I need protection. I have heard so many pros for this weapon. Both of my sons are U.S. Marines and tell me that the 26 will fit me.
Whatever you do, rent several to test drive them. It gives you a great feel for what will work best for you! That 43x is really, really good and thinner.
I will never understand the where do I put my pinky crowd. Wrap it underneath the grip and get on with it. When I shoot my Ruger Blackhawk it's the same thing. I wrap my pinky underneath and shoot the mutha..... Great channel. Thanks!!!
I got rid of my glock 26 gen 3 about six months ago cuz my buddies are anti Glock and I was kind of felt the peer pressure and now I miss it I want it back maybe an OD Green

When I saw a deal for a Gen5 with 10rd x10 mags with night sights for UNDER $400, I knew it was meant to be! Got used to the fat grip and I shoot it just fine now (at least within 5yds).
Been carrying the 26 for years. Keep going back. It’s the best and always will be.
So all this relationship analogy with the glock 26 tells me that guns are better than ex wives..
Bahahaha
Hahaha!! That’s always true. Thank you and cheers Alaskan!

They are also far cheaper than Ex's too.
The G26 has to be the finest CCW handgun ever designed by men and angels...
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
I have to say the Glock 27 is even better. With a simple barrel and magazine change you have 40 s&w, 357 and 9mm. How's that for a beautiful thing.
I take your point but I have read that it's sometimes necessary to change the extractor when moving between the 9mm and 40 calibre case sizes. Do you have any info on this?
I have also read that you only have to change the barrel and magazines. And the 40s&w magazines can also be used for 357 sig ammo.
Taffbanjo man It’s so comfortable. I drove with it on my waist for almost 5hrs. No discomfort or awkwardness. I love it.
Glock perfection!!!!! The original one!!! Simply the best
Haha that's great, i feel the same way with my G23
good choice ...has good dynamics depending of the situation.
Lol can't beat that logic

I have conceal carried my g26 for 6 years now. I have had other handguns I mixed in here and there but never found anything I like better than my g26.
I have a 26 and a 29 for carry. Both are fantastic pistols and the 29 handles really well. I do have a couple X-Grips For a 17rd mag; very versatile platform.
I have a 29 and wondering how much smaller is the 26 in comparison wit the 29?
I’ve used Glocks for most all my law enforcement career. Now retired. I carry a G26 for concealed carry and I love it. Also have a G17 as a full size and an AR9 that takes 32 round Glock mags. Interchangeability of magazines a big plus. No other pistol system does this. Extremely reliable.
That’s a great system! I agree that the mag interchangeability is important. Thank you and cheers!
Thank you for your service ! 26 is my do it all
The Glock 26 is ugly but has a good heart and will always take you back.
Haha! I admire that in a gun. Thank you and cheers Mike!

That’s awesome! It truly does pay to revisit with a different mindset and new techniques. Thanks for sharing and cheers!

@@bondalero0074 glock is average... H&K/SIG/CZ/Berreta makes better handguns.
Right on and thank you for your service! Even without major mods, the 26 is definitely a great shooter. Cheers!
Exactly. Thank you for your service !
You may end up really liking the 26. I think it’s a great ratio between size and capacity. Thank you and cheers!
I had G27 and G30 just to much recoil for smaller masterpiece like G26! I traded both G27 & G30.#G26Perfection#9mmMasterRound@pinkiewerewolf
Watch your mouth about the glock 30!😤 that's reliable check the ratings and as far as recoil I guess you can't be a weak azz😂
I'm glad you came to your senses and realized what you had with the G26. I really like the G26 and what surprised me was that I inexplicably shoot better with the 26 than the 17 or 19. For me it's the ideal carry gun too.
I agree and am glad to be back into it as well. Thank you and cheers!
I couldn't agree more. I shoot the 26 better than the 19,45,17,and 34.
Yeah my wife does to
🎁 Cheers!!! 🍻
😎👍🏻🇺🇸💥
I’m always late to the party Milehigh! I completely agree with you about many still using the 26, just by the comments on this video alone. Merry Christmas to you and yours brother. Thank you and cheers!
@@KSGunGuy01 hi
I'm one of the ones who gave up, then came back to the G26. Not exactly sure why I initially sold my 26 (probably just wanted another gun) but a few months ago I traded for one (gen 3) and I think it's amazing. I still carry my 365 or Shield on the regular, but for fall/winter jacket carry when I don't care about the thickness, the G26 goes every time.
That’s awesome Steven! It really is a great gun. Ive enjoyed getting back into it. Thank you and cheers!
Glock...
Right on! They do make fantastic carry guns indeed. Thank you and cheers!
@Patrick O'Brien First of all, don't you be mocking God. Second, Shields are good so I can't argue against that, nor can you against the 26.
@Patrick O'Brien "yous"? GTFO, you dumb clown.

I keep looking at guns like the hellcat and p365...but then I remember the 17rd mags. Love my 26.
Jeff
Why did you have a problem with the stock slide release?
The stock part was to flush to the gun. So I replaced it with an extended slide release. It made it easier to use with my thumb.
@@NCICRESQ I like the stock for carrying, but I get your point.
I have a Gen 5 26 made in the USA & it does have both front and rear slide serrations.

I really want a G26 for summer carry. I'd love a P365 but I just don't trust the Sig.
The glock 26 is awesome and has been around for a long time. I still carry mine and love it. Plus it fits my glock 19 holsters. I don't trust that little sig either.
@@commiesarehorrible7622 yeah I agree. Lot to love about the Sig but you can only go so small and be durable.

Right on Uncle Dan! It’s been a ton of fun to get back into the G26. Thank you and cheers brother!
Same for me. I started with a 26 gen 3, and now I’m back to that same 26. Love it.
Glock 26 is the best all around compact handgun. It's not a subcompact anymore lol. Especially since you can conceal it then switch to a back up mag of 12, 15, 17, 33, and now 40 round magazine. It's the most diverse of them all. Good camping gun to.
Well said! Thank you and cheers!

I have a g43, g43x, g29sf, g20 & g26 yet I find myself always leaning on my 26. Its great rocking the single stack models and the gun being invincible, but you just cannot beat the g26 form factor. It feels so right. I can't convince myself to carry anything else
I agree!
I wanted one a long time ago, but when I held it the grip felt tiny in my hand so I ended up getting the Glock19 & never regretted making this choice.

I got massive hands, and with the large beavertail grip it does just fine for me! If you still want one it's plenty good

I do agree that single stacks are Uber concealable. I still love my Shield. Thank you and cheers!
I had a Glock 26, sold it because I wanted another Glock 19. Now I have two Glock 19’s but wish I had a 26 again...the cycle of pistols I suppose.
Guess who bought a used Glock 26 Gen 4...my wife wasn’t exactly thrilled. But hey, a Glock 26! Woo hoo!
The more the merrier! Can't go wrong with multiple G19s!
I go through the cycle of 26 and 19 myself
You have no idea how happy you guys made me, I thought I was the only one that had bought, sold, and re bought the same fkin guns.
I love my Glock 19. Never sell the fun things. 😉

They shouldn't sell Glock 26s without X-Grips for G19 and G17 magazines. I have never once used those stumpy 10 round mags that came with it.
You can also put a g19 bbl in the 26 to give it a boost in FPS, pair it with a g19 mag with x-grip adapter and you have a G19 with a bobbed grip= very comfortable.

Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Thinking about making the switch from my S&W M&P 9 to the G26 for deep concealment. I was gonna buy a shield, but I'd prefer capacity over slightly less printing.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Smart choice. You won't ever get rid of the 26
Looking for a gun.
I just picked one up the other day and need to run some rounds through it. Great suggestion! Thank you and cheers!
You sacrifice reliability.. worth it for an 1/8 of an inch?
How would you compare this g26 Gen 4 with g19 Gen 4?
I carry it almost everyday. I have ran thousands of rounds through it. best everyday carry I have ever owned.
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
Hi And tx for the video. I would like to consult about a better choose... Glock 26 vs M&P 9 3.6"... What would you choose ? From which one you're getting more ? Both are better to concealed than 19/ 9 4"...
Thank you !
Both are good guns, but I'd go G26 for the size and aftermarket support. Thank you and cheers!
See my post above - 3.6 compact all the way. It is superior and costs less. You won't have to upgrade the trigger. I was a committed Glock guy until I shot the Smith. Rent both of them to see for yourself.
If everyone that thinks Glock sucks would use them for the pistol that they are made for they would also have a change of heart. I do believe.
Agreed! Thank you and cheers!
Not in my case - had to carry a shock 22 on duty and strongly disliked. I was much happier when we switched to Sig.
How about between g26 and g43? Which is better?
The “it’s a good price but there’s better for the same price” type of glock honestly
I mean if you want to be able to use any glock magazine but still want that conceal ability when using a flush mag it’s perfect
Know the feeling. Felt the same way and picked up the 43 to go along with my 19. After getting the 26 I hardly ever carry the 43.

The G2C is a great gun indeed. I really like mine.
You’re opinion matters! Oh, and I agree with you 100% that the G2C is one of the top guns of the year. Cheers Rob!
I would actually really like to see glock do a 26X!! I’ve been screamin this since I saw the G45 and 19X.
It would be cool!
Where did you get ur magazines from?

My first gun and 19yrs later, still my fav and goto for a lot of situations.
That’s awesome! Thank you and cheers!
Ive probably switched 35-40 guns for concealed carry. During that time the Glock26 and 19 held maybe 15 of those positions. Finally about 4 years ago I settled down with a Glock26 with a 19 barrel and a +2 magazine. Doubt I'll ever switch again.
That’s awesome! Thank you and cheers!
I really enjoyed the review again, as I have recently added my 26 back into my carry rotation.
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
Where can I get that mag extension? Thanks for the video and information.

The single stack craze put the 26 on the shelf. But reality is the 26 is probably one of the finest SD guns on the market.
I agree! Thank you and cheers!
Give it time, the single stack craze will die down once people realize how little difference the thickness actually is.
I always keep 2 glocks on me 26 & 43 ‼️ Subcompact (26)on the right side hand since it’s my dominant hand & left side the 43 ..
I really want this gun. It would be my first. I just moved to a new state from California and live alone. I feel I need protection.
I have heard so many pros for this weapon. Both of my sons are U.S. Marines and tell me that the 26 will fit me.
Really good gun im getting 1 .. I also have the Glock 19x as of now need something smaller
I would get the 43, or 43x. Thinner slide, easier to conceal.
Great weapon! I'd sell you my Gen 4 Glock 26 if you're in my region.
Whatever you do, rent several to test drive them. It gives you a great feel for what will work best for you!
That 43x is really, really good and thinner.

What red dot model are you using on glock 19 ?
I will never understand the where do I put my pinky crowd. Wrap it underneath the grip and get on with it. When I shoot my Ruger Blackhawk it's the same thing. I wrap my pinky underneath and shoot the mutha..... Great channel. Thanks!!!
I got rid of my glock 26 gen 3 about six months ago cuz my buddies are anti Glock and I was kind of felt the peer pressure and now I miss it I want it back maybe an OD Green
