Met your dad Thursday, saw him wandering around stopped and introduced myself, sorry I missed you and BJ! When I heard you would be there Thursday and Friday, I contemplated going on to Chilicothe to steal Kayla, but alas being 68, I knew I was biting off more than I could chew! - lol Maybe see you next year!
My Father in Law had one. Said "Massey is a poor man's tractor. You buy one because you think you're too poor to afford a real tractor. And then, it keeps you poor!"
Good to see the 1150. A nice piece of restored history. Practically everyone had an 1150 but with the today's cost of similar HP, not many people can afford a new one
I'd bet a dollar to a donut a fellow could set a deer stand somewhere close to that shiney semi trailer, he would see Chet Larsen before the sun sets. Thanks Brian for bringing me along. Enjoyed.
We have one of those unverferth cover crop seeders mounted on our 1645d double basket. Love the seeder itself but the deflectors they give you don’t spread very even. First year we ran it it left a 3’ strip not seeding in the center of the machine. Worked on it more this year and it’s better but still not fixed. The double basket worked really nice behind our landoll vt but it does take some hp to pull it. You definitely notice it’s back there vs a packer or a a crumbler. Hope this helps if you if you wanted some feed back.
Neat seeing Mike on video at the Roxor booth. He spent a few days with me in the Lancaster shop on a Mahindra 3550 that pretty well kicked both our asses. He was our service rep at the time. Since then, I moved on to a Kubota dealer a lot closer to home.
If you get a grain vac get a conveyair there is a dealer in Ohio we actually deal with him Even thore we are in Lancaster PA. The one we have works great and has a high reach to load trucks. We actually went away from the grain auger because we can load trucks two times faster with the vac.
We purchased a new Bobcat V519 versahandler which is there telehandler and we are seriously impressed. Compared to all others the ride is stupid smooth. JCB was our only other choice.
Great farm show you met my son over on the side he caught up with you for a few min as you were walking around Thursday but we didn't see your dad and thanks for taking a min 👍
Fantastic video really enjoyed watching it I'm.glad you guys had a great time there hopefully I'll make it to one of these days Keep up the great work Brian appreciate all you do thanks again and have a wonderful day
Stor Lock proudly told me at Half Century that they make Shure’s cabinets. I worked in a shop that had Shure built in boxes. Every tech’s top drawer sagged and the bearings disintegrated; they replaced the drawers/carriages and the same thing happened within 8 months. My personal boxes are Lista. Other than the two years at that shop they’ve been in constant use since 2001, with my socket drawer weighing around 375lbs on single slides. The only thing that I can say bad about Lista is that their paint is adequate but not as good as other manufacturers.
So what do you think of my main tractor here on my farm the 6410? Glad you had some footage from the show i had no time to visit, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
I’m not a farmer but I love going to the show and since I live about twenty minutes from there it’s no big trip. Couldn’t make it this year due to a bad case of “BRF” - Bathroom Remodeling Fever. I really enjoy your videos. 👍
I have a 200 gallon sprayer for wheat top dress works nice 40ft boom with a raven. Very handy can go very wet. Have done some burn down as well. Crumbler works well run 2 behind our cultivators. Hope to catch ya at commodity classic,
One of the ladies out of Nebraska who just got married this past year was down there on the RUclips. She had a little bit of the tractor pull.Laura Farms RUclipsr. Her and Grant were there .12 Hour Dr.
I like the old Roxor front end much better. The cool thing about the Roxor was that it was like and old jeep . Now it looks like a cheap side X side without the cheap part.
They were wrong to rope off access to any tractor. If you can't touch it, you can't feel it. Worst of all, kids can't cement their dreams by being on one of them.. one day soon.
@@BriansFarmingVideos Just yanking your chain since everyone was 'guessing' what the brand of that mystery combine y'all mentioned not long ago. Putting up a new equipment building will put a dent in the budget for sure. Take care.
Brian, did you see a Salford cultivator? I am from Ingersoll Ontario and the plant I work at makes most of their hydraulic components. What are your thoughts of the Salford equipment?
Our benches are StorLoc. They are very nice and have held up well.
Thanks for the shoutout, I forgot to get a photo with you for my farm show video. But that might of been too much Ohio for RUclips in one video.
Lol
Enjoyed the vid, sure was a FUN weekend!!!! 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching

So many cool things! Haircut & beard trim are nice, Bob's too! 💜
Nice tour and it was great to meet you at the show.
And that 1150 Massey is a beautiful tractor 👍👍🚜🇳🇿
Lucky enough to have lunch Wednesday with BJ and his wonderful family. Great seeing you too at the dark Unverferth display.
That 1150 was a beautiful tractor!!
We had one when I was a kid into my teens. We used it to plow, disc, and chop silage! It was a good tractor then traded it on a JD 4wd!
@@jamesmccabe1702 no it's plow
It was good to run into you & chat - I appreciate the tips you gave me for my camera!!!! It’s all fun to check out & see the new stuff!
Glad you picked the Massey, that’s that one I voted for.
Always love these videos Brain. No one does farm shows like you do! Thanks for taking us a long and showing us all of the latest and greatest.
Thanks
Thank you kindly Brain for a great walk through farm show. My goodness how much equipment in tech knowledge has changed in one year.
Thanks for watching
This is my first of your videos I've seen. I asked about MF earlier now I see they are still around. In my day we had all MF equipment.
It was amazing getting to meet you guys at the farm show. You, your dad, and BJ are great guys.
Thanks. Best part of the shows is meeting folks

Most all skid steers have a manual mechanical cylinder bleed off valve in the cab you can use to let the boom down
You've made Nathan Baker a very happy man. Liked the interviews.

All skidloader have a emergency leaver to pull to let loader down if engine stops for you to get out
Thank you I wondered about that

Thanks for the tour. I'd really like to get there sometime
Thanks for the video I enjoyed it I was going to come to the farm show but things came up I was looking forward to seeing y'all
When I saw the shining trailer I thought Larson Farm’s!

We got one of those top air sprayers with the 45' boom last year and pull it with the gator and it was really nice this year because it was so wet
Amazing! Thanks for showing us around. Looks similar to our LAMMA show in the UK
I would have liked to go to the National Farm Machinery Show this year but I slipped on the ice and injured my ankle the weekend before the show
Hope it heals fast

Wish i could've been there this year.
I keep watching all you guys videos that went to Louisville to see if I would see any of my cousins or nephew and his wife...lol.

Good job great info Thank You.
You were in my neck of the woods (sort of) this week and I was in yours today, we have got to stop meeting like this.🤣
Lots of great info
I put up that steel building you showed
Yes that air cleaner is great love ours, just hate some of the newer case filters can't use it on the steigers and newer magnums.
Love the new tech at the shows , I just feel broke with taxes and land payments in march lol
Looked like a great time
Case planter was introduced there at the show
Awesome video thanks for sharing

Props to Brian for pronouncing Versatile right! Great video that covered the show really well. Saved me a trip to Louisville basically.

Met Mike also! Gigged him about your Drone!
I’ve had a stor - lock toolbox for five years. They might be a little pricey but over your lifetime it’s a good investment. Love mine
I tried to do some videos today but was way to busy. I needed to get there super early when no one is there
Nice video Brian. For someone who couldn’t be there it was very informative.
If you try a Versatile you would be interested in one. Have Farmhand Mike get you a demo to try
Went to national farm show years ago nothing like it . Do they still have the tractor pulls they were really fun to watch

Do you think AGCO phasing out the challenger out?
Yes
Yes they are. Same as they did with White. Only Fendt, Massey & Gleaner will remain.

are you talking about the antique Massey? That isn’t agcos tractor. They barrow it for the show from an individual.
