Nice video! Lake Norman is the largest lake in NC. Kerr lake (pronounced “Carr”) is larger than Norman, however the majority of the lake is in Virginia.

Kerr, a NC lawyer, mayor, judge and ultimately congressman, who was instrumental in getting the lake built. By the way our extended family started camping at Kimball Point every year in 1957 (10 years before I was born). In the early 80’s we switched to JC Cooper because Kimball Pt. had no electric sites at that time and many of the old-timers had RVs by then. June 2022 marked our 65th consecutive year. Ive only missed 2 years out of my 55 years.

What site was you in booked on site 38 next year did you like it
We were site 39 and while we didn’t have a direct water view we really like site. Next year we will have a water view site. Cheers
