"I think I succeeded." - Michael Ironside on creating one of the most iconic characters in gaming despite the series being on ice for more than a decade.
RIdah Raresh if they did make a new splinter cell game, Ubisoft would get even with us and our right demands by making us pay $80 for the base version of the game
@@nemesisfilms4942 I heard about it. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I heard that are a lot of problems with the development. If they don't use Michael Ironside's voice, it won't be as the original...
Micheal Ironside will always be the voice of Sam for me, I remember when Blacklist came out and they had a different voice actor it didn’t feel right. I’m scared of them even making a new Splinter Cell with how fucked Ghost Recon is they would destroy it.
Ironside had cancer and from I have understood he is doing Splinter Cell remake with Ubisoft on Snowdrop engine the same engine that powers Avatar: Frontier of pandora that got graphics of the year award so this should at the very least be once again on of the best looking games like Chaos Theory.
This game was ahead of its time; revolutionary. Both in terms of gameplay with it's advanced stealth game mechanics and systems, and it's graphics which were mindblowing at that time. I hope the remake captures the same feel and the present Ubi team make a video just like this!
i know i got back to you late but thats cut soundtrack from the game... thats the cut in game panic music for the cut russia missions... type in youtube splinter cell russia ost
Any other voice and it isn't Sam anymore. They should just retire the character because without Michael Ironside doing the voice it just isn't the same.

It's a scary thought, shows you where his mind was, at the time. None of them knew if the game was going to be iconic as it is now.
This game is after so many years still awsome.
When ubisoft still made quality games
like the drift?
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Chaos theory had one of the best dialogues in a game
Fun fact: Michael Ironside played Darkseid from Superman animated series.
He’s badass as Sam Fisher as well.
And Batman from the 80's Batman/Dark Knight returns from the "I got a story to tell" from the New Adventures of Batman.
Justice League Unlimited
I love knowing that Michael Ironside actually grits his teeth when doing the interrogation dialogues.
When you used to use the night vision goggles because it was actually useful and didn't hurt your damn eyes
I wish a new splinter cell game... damn..the nostalgia behind this franchise...
@@GMOTP5738 Sad, but true.

Their actually doing a remake of the first one.

Sad to think we may never get a new decent Splinter Cell game. By decent i mean without things like empty open world, mtx galore and loot.
Sad we didn't even get one this console generation.

"Good Lord! Who's he?" My favorite Sam line! XD

Can you imagine Sam with white hair? :D The enemies would have seen him comming a mile off.
Can someone please tell me the name of the music playing at 1:49 ? I hear it everywhere. Is it some kind of generic stock music?
The first Splinter Cell was so good....
Micheal Ironside is the best Canadian to voice Sam fisher, I like him

His voice oh my God
What’s the song that starts at 1:47?? I have always wondered what the heck this song is
THIS WAS THE BEST TIMES OF UBISOFT GAMES! AFTER 2013 THE QUALITY OF THE GAMES BECOME POOR...
Best voice actor for Sam the others sucks
Agreed
The track on 10:06 what is that?
That's the in-game panic music. The OST is posted here on the site. It's probably included.
I found it for you since I'm nice. ruclips.net/video/fwMv77RjoaY/видео.html

Maan after all these years this is such a good watch. We really need a new stealth game, but I get that they just don't sell as good as action.
Remake of this game is coming
A true legend 💪 ironside 😎🔥
Ripped straight from the video game disc lol.
Micheal Ironside, absolute legend 💯
Back when Tom Clancy games were legit. What the fuck would Tom Clancy himself think about Breakpoint? He’s probably rolling in his grave right now
I don't think he ever cared very much, as long as they sold well.
The best game of the franchise is this one

jesus christ , michaels voice is incredible
Le meilleur jeu au monde !
