Bball is definitely the sport that translates best. I was a back rower when I first played league. I started playing Bball from 11/12 and continued with league and it turned me into a 5/8 and Lock 😂. Being a PG and being able to direct traffic made it easier on the footy field. Underrated sport 100%

Is there a particular reason for this from a sports science perspective or is it more of a psychological burden for these kids still developing in their careers? Love your work, guys. Hey boys frothing the poddy, quick question that does my head in as a fan of footy, rules have been changed and the game modified to make it safer for all players which is awesome! so players are held accountable for mistakes or laziness that jeopardise those standards, in the dolphins game when bostock is asleep on the ground 1m from the touchy how is the game not stopped and welfare prioritised for him ? Is there suspensions and monetary repercussions for game officials who don’t follow the standards of safety like the players are held to ?? Cheers Laney

Imagine a bit of that goes on, and highlighted by the way selection can trigger bonuses in salaries (similar to final week bonus chasing in the NFL where a receiver who averages 5 targets a game gets hit 15x in the first quarter). On the other hand, rekon any coaches do the opposite?

Every NRL ref should have to watch the South Africa v Wales union match from Saturday and learn exactly how to not get heavily involved in the game. What those refs did to that game was awful. I can’t think of any recent match in the NRL where the refs behaved as poorly as those dudes just did. Brutal…
I think it's laughable that NSW are focusing on Billy's playing career. Obviously trying to take the pressure off the players and Madge after a shocker in front of their home crowd. He got his selections and tactics horribly wrong in G1. Even if the tactics work in G2 - they have handed QLD a grenade to use in response in G3. Billy Slater had it all over them as a player - now he is handling them as a coach.
So a player illegally drives his shoulder into another players head causing a game ending concussion, and the media narrative is that Billy wasn't an angel on the field Seems legit
