Very helpful, I need start/ stop/ fwd direction only along with Estop, I can get all that from the video, thanks but how do I wire in an auto off switch as well from a saw when it has finished cutting?
For that my friend you will need external unit to send that kind of signal to your machine. If i understand your question properly, you want saw to switch off after certain time of not using it, right?
Hi Ingus. I followed your videos on Mitsubishi inverters with great interest and for this reason I have a question to ask you. I have to control a 1.5Kw 400Hz single-phase motor that spins at 24000rpm (mounted on my CNC) connected to an FR-D720S-070SC inverter and I need to be able to regulate its rotation speed via the CNC machine controller. To do this, I connected a 0 - 10V output of the CNC controller to inputs 5 and 4 of the inverter and set the microswitch to V (frequency voltage control) and set parameter 267 to 2 (voltage input 0- 10V). The engine is started via a software command that closes a relay on the PC and STF pins of the inverter. By acting on the CNC software, the motor starts to spin and reaches 24000rpm when the output frequency reaches 400Hz but if I try to vary its speed via the software, nothing happens!! Where's the trick? Where did I go wrong? I will continue to follow you for your excellent videos. Thanks in advance for the answer (if you want to help me...) Hello
Hello again. My vfd 700 is in a laundry machine. I found that it runs only in 1 direction . I interchanged the reverse and forward wires , still runs in the same direction of rotation Clockwise.. Can i say the vfd is bad? I can hear the clicking of relays from the timer board . Please assist.
More testing is required. Are you able to download parameters to your pc/laptop using fr configurator 2. You can find instructions how to get configurator in one of my videos. Plus can you run drive manually safely. Are you powering from PC terminal or SD terminal. See if you can close str and stf direct from pc source, to make sure it is happening what you say it is happening. That kind of problem i have never seen in any drives, hence more testing is required.
@@IGSElectronics HI. What if I factory reset it. Then program it like you showed. I'm in a remote town and laptop was much much away. If it fails, Thinking of removing it after this reprogramming. Then taking to a bench test it while outside the machine. Is this a good idea?
@@icemanb5065 If you can remove it and then bench test it, that would be preferred root. Regarding reset, i would not do that do to the fact you don't know what parameters were used to set up the drive to run on your machine. If you have time and check all parameters to see witch ones have been changed, against the default ones, before resetting. This drive is wary smart, so many things could have been changed to run your machine properly.
Hii... Thanks for Amazing video.. Please make a video of same drive using an Encoder or TECHOGEN

@@IGSElectronics all sorted now thanks
Ah man! Set that bloody P72 to 10kHz! The motor will have much less noise!
how can i latch my start button with holding it thanks
Hi there it is explained in 3 wire connection video.

Sir Good afternoon I saw that all 3 videos but we set time in pr 250 after that motor will stop automatically
hi sir, do you have a wiring diagram from this inverter to plc mitsubishi fx5u? thank you sir
How do I connect external control
Do you have any wiring diagram
where is the stop terminal in your diagram?
can i use 12VDC for terminal input signal? in the manual, it's suggest 10VDC, any problem if i uses 12V ? ( i'm using FR d710)
Hi Andy. No 12 dc will not do. You must fallow manuals instructions.

Which post connection
Which parameters change
I need this scheme
Do you have a scheme
Hi There. There is no specific scheme for it, hence i explain in video where each cable go. Falow the video and you should be good to go.
SA fault how to fix
Not familiar with this fault code.
Please, I need help
As you are speaking it is not able to understand fully
