রাজশাহীর তাহেরপুরে জমজমাট হাট | TAHERPUR VILLAGE MARKET AT RAJSHAHI IN BANGLADESH

There are 30 Hats and bazars in Baghmara Upazila of Rajshahi district. Taherpur Village Market is most noted of them. To meet the basic community-defined need, this Village Market, accessible by foot, providing the fresh and healthy products at a reasonable price. This ancient Market also holds the history of the War of Liberation of Bangladesh. On 24 May 1971 the Pak army made a surprise attack on Taherpur Hat and shot 25 persons dead.
