When at school at Stanley Tech they had us jogging round Norwood Lake - cross country running it was called, often in ghastly muddy conditions too. I had no idea it was a feeder resevoir for the old canal.. you'd have thought a teacher mightve mentioned that. Those 2 naughtically named South Norwood pubs.. the Ship and Jolly Sailor kinda give the game away though. Nice video, cheers!
here in Greater Manchester there is a disused canal that went though a country park and some of it was lost to the M60 motorway in 3 places one of these was halfway up a sliproad that had locks there

Are you doing no shave November or do you always have a 5 o'clock shadow. 😅 Croydon always reminds me of Doctor Who. ( Sarah Jane Smith)😊
