Yes! You have watchers! I absolutely love The Owl and the Pussycat. Wonderful poem and fabulous cross stitch design, Great video. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
That's the first time I see ... the first Mirabilia , nice! I am not a fan of HAED, but that sampler ...ohhhh, grogeous: the colours, the motifs, the combination of colours between the threads and the fabric... it looks amazing!
It’s a lovely HAED and so unusual for them, Isn’t it? I really should get it finished as it will look amazing framed. They tried to do another mystery SAL the year after but it wasn’t quite the same as that first one.
Hello! You just popped up on my feed, and I'm glad you did. I, too, love Nora/Mira designs. I have completed several and have several more on the go. (I'm not on FT, but I do show them on my IG acct.) I do stitch other designers, but only 2 HAEDs as WIPS right now. I started with paper on HAED designs, but switched over to Pattern Keeper on my Android tablet and won't go back! I only use it for the HAEDs and prefer paper for my other stitching. I'm looking forward to going back and watching video #1 and then seeing many more from you as you (hopefully) continue your journey. Steph from NJ, USA
Thank you for your lovely comment, Stephanie and I’m glad to meet you. I get a bit frustrated with my paper HAED charts, but I have quite a few which are paper only so I have to stick with them. I just need to find a more efficient way of working with them. I’ve followed you on IG - I found you with all the lovely Mira pictures! So looking forward to seeing more.
There seem to be so few of us cross stitchers in Adelaide! Lots of embroiderers, quilters and even knitters. That reflects in the total lack of cross stitch shops. The two main embroidery shops have little to no cross stitch 😢 Thank goodness for the internet!
I love how you set yourself a goal to do x stitches a day and your collection of Heaven and Earth patterns. It’s wonderful how you’ve been trying out different embroidery techniques to create your projects. I can’t wait to see the finished results! I should get started on my Nora Corbett - they're so cute! I have one of the witches. I think the one with the black cat.
I love all of Nora Corbett’s witches. Bring the inveterate collector that I am, I’d like to do the entire set! Maybe one day?😂 If you do get started on yours, I’d love to see progress.
Loved all your WIPs Nancy. I didn't realise Damask Roses was the first Mirabilia - it's so pretty. Like you I have quite a few of her charts, and many OOP. I'll have to keep my eyes out for that one. Can't wait to see them in person ;)
You randomly popped up on my feed and I really enjoyed your projects and especially your company. New subscriber here. Take care from grey and drizzly England.
It’s just starting to get grey here too as we head towards winter. But English summers can be glorious so hopefully the sun will start shining for you soon .

Great video! I've never done a HAED but I love the Owl and the Pussycat, so I might just have to get that one. Best wishes from Cheshire, UK x
