- Imagine an old guardian so long on duty nature grows on him, these are the pauldrons for it. Can be made simple but offer some more challanging part with shaping and welt molding by hand.

Recommended materials
- 3,5 mm (9 oz) veg. tanned leather
- 2,5 mm (6 oz) veg. tanned leather (only for mushrooms)
- 1,5 mm (4 oz) veg. tanned leather (only for mycelium)
- 2,5 mm (1 inch) wide straps form strong flexible leather or backpack straps
- 2 buckle for 1,2 cm (1/2 inch) straps for 2 pauldrons for shoulder attachment
- 4 buckle for 2,5 cm (1 inch) straps for 2 pauldrons for arm straps
- View wood pearls
- Long rivets
Tools: edge trimmer, cutting knife, burnisher, hole punch, leather carving tools, bone folder, clamps, sewing material, diamond shaped chisel, wing divider, glue, rivets, anvil

It did took quiet a bit, but I did not measure the time; I would eyeball it if something above 20 hours
This is some gorgeous work! I had a question regarding the 'aging' with a stone. Do you 'age' the leather before you dye it because 'aging' it afterwards would wear away the dye, or is there another reason?
Not completely sure what your questions is, in the video here I do not use any sandpaper of something to remove dye afterwards, I use the stone for more texture and in this texture sticks a bit more dye while airburshing and a bit more antique gel which gives it an aged look
