I just bought my first Aragon watch a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it and I also want to go back and get one with a rubber strap.. I've moved on to wearing a 50mm watch I know most will find that size to be to big but I like the look and they have them. Thanks for the video
There's no point in trying to minimize the name just because people may not be familiar with it.. My first watch ever was a Seiko 45mm automatic and now as an older guy and I'm not tall I wear an Aragon 50mm and its now the brand that I wear I don't see the point in wearing another plus they have a beautiful selection of watches
I actually own several Aragon watches, mostly divers, but also a few dressier ones, and have to say that they are great value for money. I also like that Aragon doesn't flat out copy other watches, but have their own unique "flavor". All in all great watches. Their customer service is excellent, and the man behind this brand Wing Liang is a very nice gentleman.
I have a few Aragon’s. Their watches are well built and are great value for money. Well worth checking out. Shout out to Junior Johnson for lending you this piece. 👍
This is a Dive Master 42.. I have several Aragon watches ( 2 DM42s). The Dive Master 42 is my favorite. Without question, It is the tops in value for the money. I'll take an Aragon over a cheap Invicta every time. Where else can you find an NH36, Sapphire crystal, and a ceramic bezel for $139.00? And their bracelets are high quality, too.
Hi Chris, thanks for this great review. Would be very helpful if you mention the date of filming and write the model/reference number of the watch you are reviewing and if possible the link where to buy it. Today March 17th. 2021, I can't find this model anywhere. Thanks
I bought the DiveMaster 42 over a year ago...the NH36A (day-date)/black dial/orange minute-hand variant. Also upgraded the strap at the time of the purchase with a MAIKES 20mm black leather strap with deployment clasp. The MAIKES store is on AliEx; with reasonable prices for straps with excellent quality. Well made genuine cow leather on both the top and bottom surfaces, with very nice white perimeter stitching. Both strap and watch have proven an excellent combo this past year...no issues whatsoever. This original design looks great and the watch delivers on its quality materials, reliable movement, and fit/finish. For the money, a no brainer IMHO.
$175.56 for this lumed dial version, on bracelet. $26.88 extra for solid clasp. But you can get the neon green one for $98.88! But seriously, this seems to be a solid piece. I went to buy this exact watch, but didn’t pull the trigger when the cost was higher for bracelet. It was a bait and switch thing for me. But I need to get over it and pick up one of these, even if it’s on a strap. Seems like good value for the money!
Sorry, I was quoting the 45 and 50mm versions. THIS 42mm fully lumed dial is $169 with strap, $209 with bracelet. Non lumed dials are $139 with strap, $179 with bracelet. Carry on.
I believe that is a Divemaster III, and that packaging configuration is not used anymore. The box is half the size... If that matters. I have a few Aragons, myself.
I have a few...my favourite is the Hiro Compressor tonneau case with the piano black dial. Aragon call out many other watch brands with what they give for the money.
So I saw another review on this from Shane at relative time and I almost bought it then… Two reviews from two of my favorite reviewers…Got to add this one to My ever-growing collection of affordable dive watches! Thanks for the great review Chris
Great review my friend !! Love Aragon great value for money !! keep up the great work and going from strength to strength !! meeting up still one mate I hope !! All the best from the UK - Nick.
I have several Aragon/Android watches and before they were Aragon the watches weren't as big as today. However, Wing has again started offering smaller sizes recently due to customer demand. The largest watch I've bought from them is 44mm which is the biggest watch I have in my collection. But it wears smaller because it's not as thick as many other 44mm watches.
I have this in yellow and purple sunburst on bracelet. They are terrific and I'm probably grabbing a blue. I've never been a fan of Aragon's lume, but it's average, not bad.
"I don't know why people would buy a Pagani Design" Cause it's still only 50% of the price of this (during sale) WITH the solid link milled clasp bracelet? Or because they actually want almost 1:1 homages of the Submariner? But that's just a theory, a watch theory.
Not bad at all! The day and date is of course Seiko style ,the top position on the bezel looks like the 12 position on the Mako XL dial. I'm always a little suspicious, about a glass back on a 200m rated watch. İt's almost too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that look too good to be true! Maybe I'm being too cynical.
1:15 - That's a golf towel. That clip is always found on golf towels. And that's normally an odd thing to include with a watch, except that Aragon is based in South Florida, so the golf towel actually makes sense.
Aragon is unbeatable regarding price and quality.... I dunno how they can produce such quality watches at low prices. and Invicta is not comparable to Aragon. Aragon dive watches are pressure tested and their customer service is unmatched.
By now there are so many different dive watches out there, I think just about every new dive watch homages in some way some other watch that has already been designed. How can it not? There are only so many possibilities.
I don't see many reviews from this brand unless Wing the brand owner is doing them himself. The Android and Argon watches seem OK for the money, but I have about a dozen of them that have haze under the crystals. I own over 300 watches and Android is the worst by far with this issue. It is not from moisture. I think it has to do with the cheap plastic parts they use that off gas. It only seems to be on the ones using mineral or K1 crystals, which this brand uses on most of their watches. I have a few using sapphire that do not have haze. I can't pinpoint or figure out why it happens, but I seldom buy anything from this brand anymore because of it. Friends of mine have the same issue. I don't mind having to open a quartz watch to change the battery. I don't think I should have to crack open an automatic watch and remove the movement to clean up the haze. The lume on these watches looks good in photos, but fades fast. No longevity whatsoever compared to other brands with decent lume. Their Tritium is fine, but the haze dims the tubes.
I'll take a pagani design over this anyday, sorry...sapphire, ceramic, solid link and end link bracelets with milled clasps, easy link system, screw pins, nh35 all for 100 or less. Most of aragon watches are gigantic they just recently started offering a 42 and mainly use mineral crystal. They're just generic cheap run of the mill divers. most of the people into Aragon are also Diesel type of watch fans.

That Aragon is a cool watch it looks allot better than the Mido you're wearing..

Thanks for the shout-out buddy , this watch was gift from a friend , I appreciate you taking the time to show it 🙏
To be fair it's really good value. I can't think of many that offer the same specs at this price point.
I just got the watch, great watch, super quality, nice finishing, everything looks perfect!
If Chris is impressed with this brand, I'm sold. 👍🏾
Aragon diver will be ‘just buy it’ watch for me this year. You cannot go wrong 🏆😁🦾🥶👍
Great to see this brand being reviewed. Aragon make excellent watches. I have 2 Divemasters & I love them.

I've shortlisting this watch for a while, finally pulled the trigger on Divemaster 4 EVO. It is impressive what Aragon generally offers for the price.
Currently waiting 3-5 business days for my DM 4 EVO MOP Dial👍🏾👍🏾

I have two of these with orange and yellow dials. Incredible value watches with very good build and finishing.
Really good bang for buck, great job Aragon! 👏
The value proposition on that watch is INSANE...I'm tempted right now!!
This would be my first diver. I usually buy smaller (40-41 mm) simple pilot watches. Does this wear really heavy on the wrist in your opinion?
Pretty neat...nice to see in a smallish size. Kinda vaguely reminds me of a larger Helm Komodo.
Weirdly I actually like the colours of the hands I think they clash in a good way
Im Glad i bought the black one, so nice to wear but with the real nice Aragon bracelet
Awesome!

Affordable dive watches are highly addictive John. I have a bad case of this addiction..
Great review my friend !! Love Aragon great value for money !! keep up the great work and going from strength to strength !! meeting up still one mate I hope !! All the best from the UK - Nick.
Wow, need to check them out
That is a hell of a value considering the price and specs.
Hey Chris I seen a new wolbrook diver that just came out that looks similar to the glashutte original diver could u possibly get that in for review?
I have reached out. Hope so
I have several Android watches, great quality, price and specs.
About the best looking diver for the money I’ve seen really enjoyed the videos u make 👍
Awesome that Wing is starting to offer smaller sizes but the majority of his customer base do prefer the big boy sizes.

@@mrxman581 Yeah people wear what they are used too I started out with a Seiko 45mm and I wanted something a bit larger now I wear an Aragon 50mm

I tend to sleep most of the night so lume is not an issue with me
I love that it has a display case back...but that rotor... *gag* lol
going to look into buying one very impressive
That lume is nuts!!
Please do the evo 40 that just came out dec 2023!
Good locking watch and great price

I think this brand has fantastic quality and specs for the price.....definitely on my hit list.
Wow it's been a year !
Time flys like a Arrow 🏹 Fruit flys like bananas 🪰

If i lived in usa i would buy it, but it cost $25 international shipping
Not a bad looking affordable diver. I can't believe you would rag on Pagani Design. 😮😂
Most look really cheap but this one has a little class.
It’s a good value.
Kinda like the victoronix dive master 500......just not as good
Did you mention if it has sapphire?
Not bad. A nice bargain AND a Ronson lighter in the same video. 😁 Cheers Chris.

Full lume is $169 other colors are $139 . $209 on Bracelet. 😉✌️🥂
Where you buy it at?
Agree with the crown could be a little bigger. Good review.
A bigger crown would make it look weird
I like it. Very legible. Great for my terrible eyes.
Kinda reminds me of those Deep Blue watches! Very well spec’d. Original design. I agree very well starter watch!
The watch was seen to be OK after about 5 min. The next seven minutes where superfluous.
Great review. That is a golf towel. Hangs on your bag, great for cleaning your balls... :) Very nice and very inexpensive watch.
I want to do it, but the logo and handset won’t let me 🤦♂️
Then get yourself the Seiko before they keep going up in price I went from Seiko and Citizen averaging 450$ to Aragon and I am super happy with them

Watch goo goo guru rather pag=pos in my experience. Your assessment of Aragon proves you know very little. About them of course.
@@mikehatfield3561 ok weirdo.
@mikehatfield3561 I agree he's a weirdo 100% Aragon's are awesome
