This was sooo me... I would study in the car and between classes, sometimes even during and people thought it was because I was a nerd but little do they know it was only because I didn't study when I was supposed to.

Step 9: fail test
Step 10: cry in the toilet for 30 minutes
Step 11: be emotionally unstable for a day to a week

I miss it too. I've been studying Korean for the past 4 months (I haven't been in school since 2014 when I graduated college).
I'm having a lot of fun studying an hour or more a day now. It's weird lol but its a lot more fun when you're studying something you actually enjoy.

You'are doing it right, you can easily remember or mastet a concept in Biology if you write down than looking at a ppt presentation. You can also strengthen your comprehension by watching videos and simulation it's very effective. A Biology Major here and now a teacher. I love Biology so much 💕

-prepare the stuffs (books, speaker, etc)
-set my favorite music
-sing for the whole 3 hours
-leave that blank book and sleep

She writes to memorize , rewrites to revise again' write for finalizing the concept...I think I am too lazy , I search up charts related to my subject , print it , and then paste it on the wall... THAT'S IT! I remember what I needed to ....and I don't even write so much.. I would have followed her method only if ...:
1st I had such a good handwriting
2nd only if I wouldn't strike every second word
3rd only if I wasn't lazy to actually to use colours to make it fun

Tips of advice for reviewing:
Not everything in the book or notebook are need to memorize,only the important ones and know your teacher will mention in your quiz or recitation.And when you were reviewing it's better when your surroundings are clean so you can relaxed it is optional if you want music.And another tips of advice When your reviewing get a piece of paper and write down what you learn, it is best not to look at the book while taking down for it because not all the time you may be able to look in your book or in your notes.
Try to talk to yourself and tell yourself what you understand (you can do this when you will report in the class,it help to lessen your shame while doing that ) Then it's better when you are early reviewing because our brains are more active. Sleep early if you know there are an exam (but it's best to sleep early every day)

But after watching ur video until the end. I notice ur technique of studying almost the same with me!
I tend to wrote down everything i understand. Not exactly what the book/notes said or stated, it would make me forgot everything because understanding the point is much better than memorizing them well memorize is a must too but understanding them is much better. So i just wrote down everything. And after wrote down everything. I took another paper and basically make my own "exam". Where i wrote down all the question that created by me. And i answer it again and again,even if im wrong, i still wrote the same question over and over again so i can fix myself over that mistake end up i memorize and understand them much better.
And sometimes i revise the same things for that one hour by keep writing the same things i wrote in another paper in more specific way so it can increase my understanding about that one topic more.
Anyway great video!! Ur video inspired me to study because the way u take the note though. I've seen lot of student youtube tend to make aesthetic notes and stuff but im not into thag kind of note taking. This one is more effective technique for me! Thank you again for this amazing video

We have quite similarity. I do memorize definitions then, write it in another sheet. After reviewing , I test myself. I will compile all the notes i have learned / memorized, then see if its right. I use big notebooks and sticky notes too . I also use different colors of pen but I dont highlight. Drawing the tissues,cells,muscles, etc takes me forever, i dont have a single art in my body. You have a good writing , and mine is , super duper ugly 😂😂. Btw , im a biology student too 😍😍.
