I liked the way they introduce the contestants from the original show. It made more sense to call them from the audience with the products. To run on holding the product makes it more like a commercial plug.
If this was indeed the final episode of the original series, they went out with a BANG for sure! But, one gameplay note here: I can't help but feel that Team 2 may have cost themselves that extra $5,000 with the gaffe on the GasX bonus. If it had been worth $250, well...
This is a May 23, 2003 finale episode of the American game show Supermarket Sweep (with host David Ruprecht) and it's also the last day of "Double Your Money" week in season nine. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 The three teams competing on this episode are Ceci & Kat, Jessica & Jerry and Tom & Mark.
