Play calls for pitching the ball 9 yards behind the line of scrimmage with 1 blocker on that side. It clearly wasn't a play called to get a new set of downs....

That was BRUTAL. It’s undeniable now colts need to draft a QB and need to reload their O Line and get more weapons.
Hell I have been saying that for 3 years.
QB isn't the problem. O-Line is the problem. No matter who you put back there they're going to get beat up.
Quarterback isn’t the problem. & we invested in our line more than anything else this off-season. Our biggest issue is playcalling and scheme. Both of them are atrocious. Frank calls plays like we still have a line where we can run literally any play we want. That hasn’t been the case this year not once yet he still keeps trying. And our passing attack strategy is similar to the Bills for only god know why smh

not really. im a real pats fan and he is a slot cb a 3 or even a 4 at best. Not a real 1 or 2 all his ints come from tipped balls of very poor passes. He is fast and just lucky there has been no qb good enough to expose him. He struggles with guys who have size and good hands even if they arent fast. He is really bad against guys who can do both those things i mentioned AND run good routes. He is a special teamer getting away with starting for us but, trust me jon jones can be exposed soon. Two things this game prove to me One that if Mac Jones protects the football, the Patriots can get back to the playoffs and make some noise and they are a team that you can never count out. Second, the colts are a huge dumpster fire right now They bench Matt Ryan thinking he was the issue when really it was the offensive line that gave up 10 sacks and the quarterback just continued to put them in bad situations. Not saying Matt Ryan would have done better but he would have done a little bit better than what we saw. I think there's going to be some wholesale changes with this team
That was the reason why Mac was successful last year, protecting the ball. At the start of this season, he was making more mistakes, which directly correlated with NE losing. Now that he's taking better care of that, they're winning again.

I don't understand how the Colts can go from having one of the best offensive lines in Football to being a line this horrible. It doesn't make any sense. If the offensive line can't protect the quarter back then it doesn't matter who the quarter back even is. Sam Elingher has no chance at all and he's been set up for failure. I think it's time for Irsay to fire everyone from Ballard on down.
They overpaid Smith who likes to watch our RBs get driven back by 3-4 guys on every run play, and can't move his feet to protect the edge. Pylon Pryor is what he is, and they should have paid glow in the off-season and not let him leave, he was an anchor an RG. Kelly did good last week but he needs to stay healthy.
A lot of people aren't talking about the poor run blocking by the TEs, seems jack Doyle's is really missed in the run game. Grandson is gone and we need a good run blocking TE because our current guys aren't natural at it and look uncomfortable and don't make good blocks

Mercy was shown. NE recorded 9 sacks but I counted only 7. Indy had 43 that's not an error, only 43 net yards passing. The problem wasn't M Ryan bur rather the OL.
He got injured and now all they care about it possibly having to pay him $7m. He's going to win games for them. Shorten those pass routes to match the OL's blocking and he'll make it happen.

We needed that W badly but we need a lot of work on our O Line. They're not giving Mac enough time to do anything most of the time. We should be looking to draft a few linemen or sign a few backup FA's because if we make the postseason we'll be needing them badly.
Maybe they just need a break and next weeks Bye will help them recover but our linemen need to step it up a bit more.
Wynn and Brown's weekly penalties hold us back so much.
