Hilarious movie, Jack Carson is brilliant as the bumbling cowboy movie star ("I can't fight without my double"), Joan Davis is wonderfully comical, and Ginger, well, Ginger is just delicious, as always.
Two actors I love to watch. This flick is ridiculous but enjoyable especially the asian butler lip syncing with the 78 rpm ala Alvin and the chipmunks.
That was great entertainment Ginger Roger's was absolutely splendid in her acting middle aged her character roll was splendid and I laughed when he as song long with the record and his butler changed record speed very funny.
I've only watched 15 minutes and I'm already laughing hysterically-- when Ginger's roommate gets her handbag strap caught in the door and says "Oh come on now, let's not milk this gag anymore"; boy can I relate--I'm forever getting things hung up in the oddest ways then saying "Oh for God's sakes!" Finally stopped laughing then she comes out with "the girls at the shop say since I cut my hair I don't look like a little old lady anymore", and turns to the mirror: "I look like a little old man now, don't I?" LOL!-- oh and when she bounces Ginger's shoulders to help her close the suitcase-- OMG too funny! Give that woman her own movie.
Very Very Funny! Especially the part when he was singing with the guitar and his butler was helping him to trick the wife into believing he could play and sing.🤣😂😂
Hmm, Vegas was started by the Italians, not a cow type town. I worked at a western wear store called Howard and Phil’s. Garth Brooks signed a hat for our manager. In 1992, when I’d wear my bulk wranglers and my bulk silk blouse with my bulk boots, old men would say Who died? I’d say it was my Ode to Johnny Cash. Hehe, we didn’t really wear all bulk then. I still have those boots, and my Larryn with cow on cow fur. And a tall tan and brown fur ones. Oh heck and a bulk cow hide and sweat fringed jacked. Two belts. Some day I need to get my tips and heels chromed. 🤠🥾
Such a time, when goodness was the main stream. Now we have mindless interaction and the gutters to watch. Utter garbage. Have not had TV for 10 years and I am better for it.
Jack Carson was a suave funny forceful actor with an eye for the ladies...i perceive he was just being himself...could explain why he was married FOUR TIMES!! OMG!!! but the record player scene was hilarious....
Jack Carson was great with the 🏊 mermaid swimming with Ester William's. Her 👗 ing room was next to Ginger Roger's. Jack also started in a sort of filling noir with Joan Crawford. I think he whas a fine actor!!!!!
This was horrible! Even for a corny old romance. It's like they reached into a grab bag of plot themes, pulled out a random handful and stitched them together. Voila! This must have been someone's must-fulfill-the-contract obligation.
Nobody did more with film than Ginger Rogers. Once that camera rolled, she was magic.
She was wonderful
Have you seen "bachelor mother"
Absolutely amazing...
My new favourite movie
After "the rage of Paris"
Loved this movie!!
Highly amusing. Ginger Rogers is such a fine actress. Jack Carson is always in a good picture.
This movie was delightful.💝

What a great movie 🎥🎥 Jack Carson and Ginger Rogers 👏👏👏👏👏 Thank You for sharing
Love Ginger and these old Movies that show off her acting talents admirably. One thing about the theme... reminds me of George Clooney.
Surprising twists, great writing!
For those that know, not really a slap-stick, is safe to watch without nausea. Ginger Roger's fans will be pleased. Cute flick.

Funny!
I remember her from Some Like it Hot - she was in the all girls band. She should have been given more parts
@@emilypaulos7993 she had a popular tv series in the 1950's called I married Joan" with Jim Backus.
Very Very Funny! Especially the part when he was singing with the guitar and his butler was helping him to trick the wife into believing he could play and sing.🤣😂😂

I have no idea what Garth Brooks has to do with Vegas; however, the Italians did not start Vegas. They only built it up.
Delightful! :-) :-)
Good Movie!
lots of fun!
Puts the hat on backwards 😂
The murder weapon at the scene of crime, with your fingerprints on it, is "circumstantial evidence....not too serious".... 🤣

He had one scene in her movie ‘5th ave girl’ as the sailor singing on the park bench. He had a great singing voice if that was him.
🔥🔥
Honestly, it was good, but just not that good.
