I never seen anything in the bible about a Labyrinth. In my research learned a Labyrinth is a place for self-reflection and mediation, my first time seeing this I thought it was for exercise but people was walking very slow and if everybody in the office is on lunch only a few people could use it because it's so small. Seem confusing to me you can do the same thing taking walk for exercise and you can pray as well as mediate on God's word Or you can pray like Jesus said to pray in Matthew 6:6. But thanks for the information anyway.
For there is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus: 1Timothy.2:5. Pagan Idolatry. Oh you will find this in the bible. This is the Golden calf! NO there is nothing like this a christian should even go near.
Prayer Labyrinths are centuries old and were used by medieval Christians. They can be used as a method to pray. Did you even listen to the video and what the speaker is saying???
Historically, labyrinths were rooted in paganism and incorporated by Catholicism. Now they are promoted by the Emergent Church and others who seek an open spirituality apart from the Bible. Paul’s warning to the church should suffice to keep us focused on Jesus and avoid empty ritual: “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
Adding a scripture to this video on Labyrinth walk would make it essential to Our journey or path walk to fuel our spiritual conscience before The Most High God on mediation of our Fathers Holy Word. Jesus Walk away from his Disciples to Gethsemane for prayer and meditation to his Father Matthew 26:36-46, Mark 14:32-35, Luke 22:40-46 This Labyrinth walk on this symbolic path has to be intentional and exclusive only The Most High God Yahweh Jehovah Jirah. This life we live is symbolic and the illustration the Bible uses are symbolic just as this Labyrinth. It's All about Worshipping God Only in Piety... Shalom 🙌🙏💞
For there is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus.
Thanks Steve
no worries
