Ubisoft, this is why you fucking need clear protagonists. It’s infinitely more interesting. Despite how flawed I think Aiden is as a character, I can still connect with him. You choosing to shy away from clear cut singular protagonists for wokeness is such BS.
I think part of why people "Didn't like Aiden" was because they didn't like how Ubisoft straight up lied about how the game's graphics looked at the time from the E3 showcase of the game, so their view on everything about the game was tainted. He's still a bit of a bleak character, but that fits him. He's morally gray in every possible way. He'll work with terrorists and hitmen, and fuck over the same guys if either option gets him closer to his personal goal.
I'd like to know what Lucky Quinn and Iraq would look like if they were in this game if they were still alive. By the way, Aiden looks badass with the beard.
Quinn would be dead by then cause he was in his 60s in the first game and he would've suffered a heart attack. He would be 80ish in this DLC. Iraq would be in prison for his crimes if he was alive. So he would be like in his early or mid 40s

They can be part of the plot that'll help Adien throughout the story.
Only time can tell if Ubisoft can get their head out of their asses.
Aiden in his revelations phase
Watch dogs : Aiden Pearce
Legion : sheikh Aiden
Al-Qaeda Aiden 😂
Hehe nice one😈😆
I don’t understand why people keep saying he looks like a Muslim
He just got slightly older and grew a beard lmao
Because he has a beard and cropped mustache.@@Super_Hydra
That facial animation really lets this down
So like 15-16 years ago he took down and took care of Lucky Quinn, Iraq, Damien, Mariece, and a bunch of other bad guys in Chicago.
we're going to have a Watch Dogs with Jackson as the main character, just remember my words...
Like Kratos and he's son in different era, LMAOO
You don't really know how fuck i love Wrench...i really hope they will make a live action series based on the character...this would be insane
The only character who has actually developed during the series
Tbh Im kinda annoyed we get 1 greatgame with aiden then a timeskip dlc and now hes done being a vigilante....so much for a another game following aiden....
Dude's in his mid fifties now. As great as he was, even in the first game he was a bit over his prime years so to speak. But we do know that Aiden went international after the events of the first game so maybe we might still see him if they choose to make a prequel. I don't see how they can make a sequel to legion because it'll be a bit too far in the future for it to be grounded... Legion already had some pretty fantastical stuff
@@atharvawaikar9730 yeah tbh it feels like wasted potential, I didn't like 2 or legion, I wanted Aiden as the mc in 2 and 3 I hate when they build up a character as the main character make u fall in love with him then be like haha just kidding
@@oneautumnleaf2622 I guess that was precisely the problem. Ubi put a lot of work in Aiden only for him to be completely flamed on launch. That's basically why the second game took such a big u-turn. Legion was very innovative with the gameplay and I personally enjoyed the story but concluding Aiden's story with the DLC must have felt like the right decision to the studio.
@@atharvawaikar9730 yeah it was sad....you just don't do that to a main character , they should have followed his international story that could've been 1 or even 2 games alone..
@@oneautumnleaf2622 I guess we can only hope they do something like that now that they've seen how positively he was received
WD1: I need to expose the truth and enact my revenge.
WD2: we need likes and subscribers.
WDL: we probably shouldn't have made this one.
Good seeing Aiden again tho.
Wow, ending his story with a DLC from a game that's so disconnected from the past 2 games. I'm glad I didn't pay for this. I see what audience they are targeting and good on them.
trust me , probably this will not be the last time we see aiden, especialy if we remind that there was a 15 years jump from the first one to legion, and even if ubisoft had to end defenitely aiden story , they will made him appear(in the main stpry or with a dlc) in another game watch dogs game
Awesome that he's back. He needs another game for itself. Watch dogs 2 was shite, I hoped for aiden's second story. Glad he's back
I wish they acknowledged Jacks not talking to anyone but Nicky in WD 1
There were moments he talked to Aiden as well but that was it
Well he’s older now and lost his PTSD so yea
Dude's voice just beautiful
Whoever first came up with the idea about putting Aiden Pearce and Wrench together, deserves a fuckin medal and a pay increase.
15:40 bad day to take acid on guard duty
Better protagonist then gta v’s
Me when i have a trash opinion:
Jackson: "You put me and my Uncle's life at risk so light heartedly!"
Wrench: "It was just a prank bro! And like, back in Watch Dogs 2 that would have totally been a good idea nobody would get hurt (no good guys anyway) and we would get so many new followers too!"
Jackson: "Okay but you- hey! Are you live streaming this right now?!"
Wrench: "Yo wassup internet! Dedsec bout to expose sum more corporate corruption XD, look at ma homie Aiden over here got shot by sum nasty corpo thugs (zooms in on Aiden's bullet wound) he in a coma but we goochie now because we hacked them bitches!"
I LOVE ADIEN IN EVERY UNIVERSE
Am i the only one that thinks this game is just sad not the whole series just this one like, wrench all alone trying to do something,Aiden just trying to live in this new world and nearly thrown out of his nephew's apartment.
Only part of legion that I actually liked
17:02 _damn that animation is fcking impressive_
They should have a game back in time and have Aiden, Ray and Tobias meet up and fuck shit up
10:49
Jackson is a big fan of Bloc Party, eh ? I hear Banquet on that radio.
This should have been the main story not dlc
Dear God these graphics
Was it good?
that can go either way
They suck, they don't even look better then wd1
@@Spottedhusky The post processing is the real disappointment. Anti aliasing is god awful with the shimmering and jaggies everywhere....A trend observed in a number of other Ubi releases
It doesn’t matter this guys age this guy was like what age 40 in the first watchdogs I seen other vigilantes like age 65 in London
That’s wrench alright kind hard to forget that face and also did some of his burns go away 12:36
anyone noticed that jackson sounds like the guy who played Dusan Nimick in watch dogs 2?
Dose this take place in the same universe as the first one
They all have, he's a living legend amongst dedsec and other hacker groups.
Ubisoft should do a game that continue aiden Pearce history
The thing is, when watch dogs one came out, ppl acted like it was bad and ubi got all the shit in the world. So they obviously though it was bad and tried something different, but now that they do something different everyone is saying that wd 1 was so much better. People just don't know what they want so how could they know
Ok
if Michael De Santa was a hacker
Ubisoft, this is why you fucking need clear protagonists. It’s infinitely more interesting. Despite how flawed I think Aiden is as a character, I can still connect with him. You choosing to shy away from clear cut singular protagonists for wokeness is such BS.
❤
should've gave him a stubble, he looked like Bin Laden 😂 IMO of course
Dead
@@patricklodge1576 I said if they were STILL ALIVE.
Quinn would be dead by then cause he was in his 60s in the first game and he would've suffered a heart attack. He would be 80ish in this DLC. Iraq would be in prison for his crimes if he was alive. So he would be like in his early or mid 40s
14:06
"Sometime you still lose..."
i’ll be honest this doesn’t do justice to Aiden Jackson and Wrench’s stories. I loved the first watch dogs and the second was subpar, but legion never looked fun enough to buy to me. I wish we could’ve just slowly gone through the story of “The Fox” and the san fran DedSec or even a Chicago DedSec with Clara’s people. I will say the second watch dogs had this aesthetic for DedSec broadcasts i can’t get my mind off of and i’ve been trying to figure out how to make my own or impersonate the voice or find a good quality live wallpaper just because it’s all good.
Just beat bloodlines and the coma sequences made me depressed for Aiden. (Wrench is awesome but wasnt expecting Jordi)
8:23 wow Jackson really has glow up
Just finished playing Watch Dogs 1, and just started playing WD2, and tbh, I was kinda hoping to play as Aiden again, and something feels lacking. Though, I hope I'll enjoy it once I progress through the story.
seeing Aiden with a beard feels different
I still think Chicago future will be covered with ctos robots like in the mini game in WD1
I hate the future tech design in this game
Why was he hated again? I really enjoyed him.
when are they making a forth one of watch dogs
Am i the only one who loves aiden
They also brought back Wrench from Watch Dogs 2. Yeah I can tell Ubisoft clearly was desperate trying to win the fans over since they realized how badly the story was done.
2:40 I like this guy already
Number 3 this movie I like it
