  • There’s no greater freedom: with your MH8 you can enjoy maximum flexibility, even in the wilderness. Thanks to the removable lamp head, it can be used as a headlamp or handheld light. The integrated lithium-ion battery can be charged quickly at home using the magnetic USB charging cable - or on longer trips without access to a power source, you can use conventional disposable batteries. Get through long nights using the energy saving mode, or choose constant light mode for especially consistent LED power. And for sure you can choose between red, green or blue light.
-Multi-colour LEDs in red, green and blue for use when fishing or hunting.
-Two energy modes (constant light and energy saving) for either especially consistent or energy-saving light.
-Two types of batteries (lithium-ion and AA) provide the combined benefits of rechargeable and replaceable batteries.
-Simple charging of the lithium-ion battery via magnetic USB cable. -Innovative mounting system allows for simple removal and positioning of the lamp head for maximum flexibility.
-Advanced focus system for easy and intuitive adjustment of the light beam.

Finally, the crystal clear explanation I needed! The manual wasn’t clear at all. This video answered all my questions! Thanks!

Thank you for the video! Just a question, because the manual is just not clear. If I turn on the torch, at set it with white light light to power (220 lumens) it will continue with 220 lumens until the end or the lamp is always either in energy saving and constant light, and so will drop the power after a few minutes? Or the "normal mode" is just costant lumens, and if you set constant light or energy save it will drop? I really can't understand this thing which is quite important because if the power after 5 minutes drops to 60% it is not like in the data sheet stating that with 220 lumens the torch lasts for 3.5 hours!

The closest video I have come to understanding how to use it. I still don’t quite understand how you tell if you are in constant current or energy saving mode though?

      Hi,
Constant current mode = light will switch off immediately.
Energy-saving mode = light will switch off by fading off.
      Hope this help :)

@@ooijunwei4105 do you mean the light fades in energy saving mode after unlocking? Or every time you turn it off it will fade?

Well if you just want it for working on your car at night or seeing inside a dark cupboard, yes there are cheaper simpler lights. But for people hiking or running in the bush at night, or in mountains, then the extra features really can be good. I have an older SEO5 model that has similar features to this, and I've used all of them except the flashing signal. It even has a dimmer function to adjust the light output to anywhere in between the default high/low settings and I've seen other people say that's a gimmick, but for me that's become a non-negotiable feature - I won't upgrade to a lamp that doesn't have it. We all have different needs but like anything it's easy once you've used it a few times.

@@chocolate_squiggle the features of this headlamp are good. What is really BAD is how complicated it is to use those features. It requires too much memorization of sequences. I'll give you an example of a headlamp with equal features but has a mechanical interface that requires no manual: Streamlight Sidewinder Compact II.
The Sidewinder is so easy to use even a child can pick up that headlamp and learn to use all features without any manuals. It has four brightness modes, it has RGB each with their own brightness modes, even comes with InfraRed light for use with night vision goggles. It can take rechargeable and single-use CR123, or AA, or even AAA batteries. Waterproof, and dust proof.
