You stand out to me among a lot of the other fashion influencers because of all those things! Also love watching you and Simon interact ha! Looking forward to future videos and blog posts girl!

The video was very personal and allowed me to get to know you and appreciate all the hard work you put in your brand! I really got a sense that although being a fashion blogger and hence being exposed to a lot of trends, you have really stayed true to yourself which is rare. I really mean it when I say that you are really inspirational x

I had never pictured you with dark brown hair!!! Wow your style has changed so much over the years. I’m going through a style overhaul right now at 27 similar to what you described, no more forever 21 and focusing on quality pieces.

Really enjoyed this video Emma. I am 44, and my style is still evolving. Love getting ideas off you and loved the old photos, you were very adventurous and looked fab in them all. I even paused the video to read your blog post. One of the best and most honest blog posts I have read in a long time. Have a great weekend. Xx

Love your pictures ! I know the ombré look in hair coloring is big these days but the streaking as it is in this edition is your absolute most flattering ! So natural rather than the ombré which to me shouts out neglect in upkeep . Just my opinion ! Love your style ❤️

I, too, am the product of the 80s and I found it hilarious when you mentioned seashells and wooden necklaces. My senior portrait I had seashells in my hair and a shell necklace 😂😭. I agree with you that turning 30 was a bit of a turning point in terms of my style and now with influencers like you I am gaining even more of a grasp on classic, timeless styles. I am looking more to quality over quantity which was not the case a few years ago. Thanks for the inspiration Emma! ❤️

This is great! It really is a process - one that never ends. That's what makes fashion so exciting, though. It's the outward representation of your own personal growth. It's fun to see how much you've changed over the years. Thinking back on my own journey makes me laugh. You're one of my favorite people on RUclips, I always look forward to your vlogs and style videos. Keep up the great work and thank you for the constant inspiration!

LOVED this vid! I've only been watching and following since late 2017, so it was brilliant to see how your style has evolved into what it has become today. I completely and utterly agree with your style theory around turning 30. I'm hitting the big 30 in June and I really feel that my style is becoming more sophisticated and classic as I hit this milestone. I too was always a person who loved to experiment with trends and used Primark (or Penny's as it's known in Ireland) to feed my desire to be "in fashion". But in the last year or so, I've dramatically reduced the amount I buy in there and have turned to more "grown-up", quality brands like Zara. I even splash out every now and then on designer accessories.
Thanks for all the inspo and keep doing what you do! Loving your work! x

Loved your throwback .... the 80's was a funny one, body suits, (yes they're back), chunky jewellery, big hair/shoulder pads etc, young, carefree. 90's young, carefree, single (well when it suited haha ! )lived in combats (fan of All Saints) fantastic memories, always had the latest clobber and was called a clothes horse many a time! Now I hope, in my older years, I too have refined this, classic styles with modern pieces with some big trends now and again to say I'm "still with it"!! The only wish I had was that we had Instagram then as it would be so much easier to look back on old photos to see those trends at first hand - but I must say you can't beat getting with the girls and getting those old photo albums out. I still don't forgive my best friend's wedding (90's) when I was her bridesmaid, she looked stunning and so she should, but I had to wear a pink fluff ball with hair scraped right off my face .... I wore what I was told ! Best wedding ever and still BFF (god I hate that saying! ) ..... Emma you are very lucky you have all this to look back on (some may say not as once it's out there it's out there) ....but you're a good egg and I love reading your blogs/vlogs/Instra ... x

It's crazy seeing you with such dark hair! The outfit with the ripped denim jeans and white shirt under the pink jumper is very similar to my current style so I'd say that one is a favorite of mine. I have to wear boots or sneakers though since I can't walk in stiletto heels and all my jumpers are either shades of blue, green, off white ivory/oatmeal or grey since I have a fairly set color palette in my wardrobe. This was such a cool video and you were an adorable child!!

This was such an awesome video! My parents let me wear whatever I picked out and girl it was a hot mess but I loved it. I feel like as a fellow retail worker you really get exposed to so much. You get to play around with “fashion” and play around with different looks and really figure out what your style. I’m still in an every eclectic stage of my journey. Loved the throw back pictures so so much!

I love this video! And it's always so cool to see a kind of similar style evolution. I'm almost hitting 30 and I grab towards these designer brands way easier than I did before... also for the reason that I thought they we're for 'older' people. Now I like that classic, timeless vibe and see myself wearing this for next 10 years - until I am one of those 'older' people.
It's also a real comfort hearing you've been blogging for so long before your blog finally hit off, I constantly feel like "why am I doing this?" but than I remember I'm doing it for me and people who in some are kind of the same. So thanks for also sharing!!!! You're style is amazing and I get such inspiration from your channel and blog.

That was really interesting! I only found your content this year when I became more interested in fashion/make up/skincare, bit late in really, but now watching your video I feel less of a late bloomer, I'm mid 20's, and discovering I suppose. I'm a jeans and jumper/ t-shirt girl who loves a designer trainer. Or a maxi dress in summer. So I loved your maxi dress pick and also the over sized knit picture 3rd one on the video pause screen. I love your current style, just bought the m&s linin shirt and looking at blazers. Thank you x

Thanks for sharing your style evolution. I'm 45 and up till now loved fashion from a distance but felt it wasn't for me, put off by quotes like the example you gave suggesting that if you are not instinctively stylish you can't join in. Now I am really trying to get out of my comfort zone, try new styles and go through that experimenting to find a signature style that works for me & makes me feel great. Videos like this are really helpful.

I think you have great style, I also have for several years adopted the more neutral look. I live in Florida USA were the weather is ridiculously warm in summer and bipolar in winter. As crazy as it sounds we sometimes wear shorts, long sleeves sweatshirts and flip flops in winter, we joke around and call it Florida style. I love jewelry, especially vintage jewelry, I like to use that to elevate my outfits. I also love shoes and handbags but like you, I'm one of those people that like quality over quantity, except when it comes to jewelry 😂 I guess having a jeweler as a very close friend help lots 😁

This is such a cool video :) one should never be ashamed of their fashion journey as it evolves and changes and molds as one grows up and finds what they are confortable in and find stylish - it is such a personal thing also :) Read the fashion weeks post and really loved it, it is so genuinly written! I am not close to the fashion world in that sense but have experienced the "out of place" feelings many times, sometimes even in connection to what I was wearing to a certain place (getting "the looks" and the rolleyes). Really appreciate the fresh and honest standpoint you took :)

Oh my god this was brilliant Emma! As a child of the (earlier 80’s 😉) I went through some horrendous fashion in the 90’s, sparkly hot pants included 🙈. And satin, so much bloody satin and godawful uncomfortable bodysuits and platforms 🤣 However I totally agree that it’s fun to experiment and these things were reflective of the time period. You still looked great in most of your older looks but you’re almost unrecognisable with such long hair! ❤️

Lol, as soon as you started to talk about your fashion evolution after 30 I totally found myself where I'm today. *And I'm 18!* lol I don't really shop at the big fashion retailers and I also started to praise quality over quantity. I looove to thrift and through thrifting and hustling I managed to snatch quite a lot of designer pieces such as Acne denim jeans, Gucci blazer, various pieces from Max Mara, Fendi silk top and derby shoes and most recently my Jimmy choo eros in multicolor glitter for myself for graduating from high school! :) Lol, so I think I'm a bit ahead of my age! Keep up the good work and your fashion game, love you Emma ❤️

Really interesting video, I think we all have cringey fashion moments from the past, but most of us didn't put them online! That's the thing with fashion, what we think looks great now might be the thing we cringe at in ten years time!

Loved the sequins daisy duke shorts. You looked absolutely gorgeous then and now. I think I like your hair color better as a brunette. Thank you for sharing your style evolution.

I haven’t been following you since the beginning unfortunately so thank you for this video, it reassures me because I don’t have a specific style.
I think the older outfits are also kinda « classic » or « timeless »because I really see myself wearing some of them today.
