I started watching way back when he was playing a game called loop hero. I watched someone else play it and though "man, I'm never gonna play this, but if I did I would be way better than this guy..." so I looked up high level play and found sifd absolutely min-max breaking the game lol I've watched his channel ever since
I really enjoy how Sifd makes daily over hour long videos. And i like how they are not edited, like all the thought process is there. I think more RUclipsrs should do that.

That's a big part of why I love watching his stuff. I couldn't do anything in backpack battles until I watched him. He explains everything and it's amazing.

I have gotten 2 items in the first floor with events, events can also give MASSIVE experience
Events can be really good, the knight training is the best at the start for needed tankyness and the anvil to upgrade 3 random items.
PLS do a mage run too
HAd a mage run on the demo where I hit 70% cast reduction and I nuked the floor 3 boss in a few secs I can only imagine what the lvl 80 bonuses are and the gear
You get nothing past 55ish, and the gear doesnt scale much more even when you hit level 100
@@stephenp8232 I meant the lvl 8 bonuses not the player lvl 80 the demo only goes up to 6 and there's 0 content creator content or a wiki for things like traits items etc
@@stephenp8232 you can get up to 75%, got 0.25 sec cooldown on fireball in first slot
I noticed that you really only die from gettint 1 shot as soon as you start a fight. My last run i reached floor 45 and died do the boss instantly. I had 30k hp/shield, with 100% crit redux max everything else... sadly level 100 is max for you and enemies keep leveling. The chest stages keep showing up once you get all the items... its just empty from around floor 25 on
5 resolve for 40% extra damage for 3 fights is op, it has carried most of my runs in some places.
I'm pretty sure Evasion and Dodge are separate mechanics like in Path of Exile, and chances to Dodge or Evade are rolled separately.
I also wonder if Dungeon Exiles has the same entropy mechanic as PoE for Evasion, essentially increasing or decreasing Evasion chance during combat based on hits taken or evaded, to avoid stupidly lucky evasion streaks or stupidly unlucky deaths from not evading a single attack.
SIFD please play Knock on The Coffin Lid, its slay the spire with grim dark twist and equipment its so good.

@@CrazyUnigodThat's not even that much considering the attack speed of enemies, even if you dodge everything it's a max of 3% increased attack speed per second. Would be much better if it was 3% dex increase instead tho.

10 bucks is a bit steep for only 3 characters a handful of legendary items and every build feels the same for now. However, the dev has been updating rapidly lately and seems receptive to criticism. I love path of exile and slay the spire and this game is obviously more than inspired by those. The things id like to see next is make the poe class ascendancies more exclusive so u dont just have everything in the whole game at floor 10. Every run rn needs alchemist or electromage mana gain, trickster evasion or warden es gain, etc and then your choices in specializing in a stat dont matter so much. I would try something like death must die where you lock yourself into a few gods (trickster + duelist, for example) and then all your future upgrades are from that school, synergize with them. Obviously that means more than 8 upgrades per school but some of them can be as simple as flat defensives or could even have negatives of off-synergy stats. On top of that, at least on higher nightmares (which i havent gotten to yet), id like to see kitava-style debuffs every floor so that future evasion and armor scaling matters more than just the retaliate damage or attack speed or whatever it was on the warrior. Plus, the resistances dont matter except its nice to have a lil shadow res for the one floor with shadow mages. More monster ele dmg mods and even a small amount of kitava-debuff to reses per floor would make gaining those stats more relevant, especially if ur not building lots of recovery (which hopefully the ascendancy idea would make more viable). And lastly, more legendary/unique items, potentially ones with downsides or at least strong niches so its not "add a bunch of flat fire damage" every single run. Poor mage runs out of good items to loot pretty quickly imo! Otherwise, im liking it and it seems promising for the future!

Crit after about floor 25 is the only thing that will kill you... if you dont stack 100% crit redux you will most likely die the instant you start a fight.
