    This story reminds me of an episode of Law and Order SVU. David kept bringing up karma but he's the one who's going to get it in the end.

    I'm in no way defending the husband, but I'm really confused about what he did that was illegal to the point of sending him to prison for five years.

      Text stories is less concern with laws and more story telling. ( Thought a little bit of realistic story telling would help tell a better story )

      I found an article from 2018, so I will quote part of it: "In the US adultery remains technically illegal in 21 states. In most states, including New York, cheating on your spouse is considered only a misdemeanour. But in Idaho, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oklahoma and Wisconsin, among others, it is a felony crime punishable by prison. However, attempts to enforce historic anti-fornication laws are vanishingly rare."
      And the second article from this year, so I will also quote part of it: "Under the Michigan Penal Code, adultery is punishable by up to five years of imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $5,000, while Oklahoma law punishes adultery by up to five years of imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $500. In Oklahoma, it's a crime not only for the married person but also for the other person involved, even if that person is single. And in Wisconsin a fine for adultery can go as high as $10,000. The crime also carries up to three and a half years of imprisonment."

    I'm dying laughing over here. Low sperm count can be passed down genetically, but not infertility. If you're truly infertile you're not passing that on.

  • @WhitneyAllisonGG
    @WhitneyAllisonGG 4 дня назад +6

    David you can get a fertility test and get sperm count. The syndrome is real but it's a genetic condition that gives men extra X chromosome tends to render low sperm count or infertility. Again everything can be tested.

      yes i have seen so many cases where the guy refuses to believe hes the father based on one doctor saying he cant have kids or a vasectomy. only to be told that just one swimmer can in fact impregnate the woman they sleep with

    Title is misleading. He only got his wife and mistress pregnant. I kept waiting for his wife to say she hired a private investigator, and all along he had ten kids he didn't know about, and was now on the hook for child support to! Ending wasn't anywhere near satisfying

    For the record, in the United States, which given the context in the story is where this is. This wouldn't be criminal it would be civil, thus no jail time unless he was a idiot and caused issuess in court or did other things not mentioned here
