Love your vids! Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get IAH-SYD one day during our summer but when I flew the route, it appeared it was a very "senior" crew.
Thank you for another good vid. As an ex crew, it's exciting to watch your journey. I experienced the same during my first few widebody flights. It took 2-3 weeks to figure out the galley, the environment, service, settings etc 😅 .. You will adapt real soon Ennis.. 😊
I love red eyes! And no worries bout working widebodies, it does get intimidating at first. Working it a lot more you’ll get more comfortable. No worries you got this!
My first time working the 777 was also F galley lol. Was IAD-SFO...the FS was a saint and helped me as much as he could. Thankfully the rest of the paring was on the Bus & 73. You will get the hang of it...just takes practice.
Oh man, that first wide-body leg you always feel kinda off, especially business/first galley. But hey, you survived to tell the tale which means you kicked @ss, regardless. It gets easier man. Red-eyes will become your friend; especially transcon/Hawaii red-eye turns.
Lol, the term red eye makes me cackle, but it's obviously clear to anyone who's interested in joining the aviation profession that it's not like the regular 9-5 it's random hours you can get
Welcome to mainline flying buddy!😊
Thanks! 😃
Glad you had a good time in Austin! You look happy!!

I could imagine that it take a while to really adapt I just hope I get to fly more on wide bodies 😭

Love Austin. Thanks for the tour
No problem hope you liked it
From Austin here, those loud annoying birds are called grackles.
They're so annoying
Keep up the hardwork! Saw you in Houston but was shy to say Hi!
My first time working the 777 was also F galley lol. Was IAD-SFO...the FS was a saint and helped me as much as he could. Thankfully the rest of the paring was on the Bus & 73. You will get the hang of it...just takes practice.
Yahh same here I had a lot of help which made things really easier for me
Austin looks like a nice city.
I feel very happy looking your enjoying❗️🐻💕
Set the clock on your stove!! LOL
Bahahan I always just look at it but don’t deal with it lol
Austin looked amazing, thanks for taking us along. That's the worst feeling when ya request uber/Lyft and your battery almost dead. Been there. Lol
Austin was fun! I’m glad I was able to get back to the hotel 😭
I hated redeyes! I always wanted to cry when I got called for one. My base doesn't have them, thank the Lord.😊
Lucky you , yah I thought I could survive them but by the end of it I really felt the tiredness in my eyes
Oh man, that first wide-body leg you always feel kinda off, especially business/first galley. But hey, you survived to tell the tale which means you kicked @ss, regardless. It gets easier man. Red-eyes will become your friend; especially transcon/Hawaii red-eye turns.
Yah I first thought I was gonna just go in there and have a regular flight but once it got later I really felt it
There's one thing worse than a red eye... A 20 minute hop on a turboprop and having to pass out water and a snack sole charge 😅🤣. That's me.
A turboprop?! Either way a 20 min flight and still gotta do a service that’s rough 😭
@@EnnisGomez yeah a Dash 8. 50 pax. 😱
Did you like working for your previous airline? I'm thinking of applying to them. How long did you work there if you don't mind me asking?
It was fun starting off, it can get tough working alone but it’s a good first step, I was only there 4 months
I worked a trans con red eye my first week and now I AVOID them 😂😂 I prefrence early check ins all day everyday!
I could only imagine a trans con redeye 😭 must’ve been killer
Those birds might be bats as downtown Austin is known for bats
Are you serious 😭I mean it wasn’t that late and they seemed to be a lot
It’s not bats, they’re birds called Grackles.
Lol, the term red eye makes me cackle, but it's obviously clear to anyone who's interested in joining the aviation profession that it's not like the regular 9-5 it's random hours you can get
I didn’t get it at first but I swear my eyes were dying towards the end 😭
Jet lag
Literally I think that’s what it was
Great vlog I flew for Continental
Nicee, there’s a lot of ex continental in houston
