I think BST will be great for Tier III. Can apply Killer Instinct against all those NMs and put -33% def/att debuff. Can also Unleash and give yourself tons of buffs. Also zerg jobs like DNC, WAR etc. can probably just well zerg those. I expect they will have some anti zerg mechanics at V5+ tho.
Always nice to see someone try and fail. Other then fail without trying. Sucks you only get 2 runs a week. Watching your vids though I'm sure you'll have figured something out and post your victory soon. :D
Also afaik each of this NM is weak to some element and hitting this element has chance to make fetters disappear I think (same as hitting with right weapon type I think), so its probably beneficial on NIN to try SCing and MBing with right element or maybe even use hybrid WSs if mob is weak to both slashing and right element. Also I hope Im saying this last time Logical USE DAMN AGEHA! :)
I don't think element has anything to do with fetters red proc or blue proc. I know people keep saying that but I think my video disproves it. Look at 22:25, I get a red proc, fettter, blue proc. All I'm doing is spamming evis, no elements, no sc, no mb. Just spamming the thing he is weak to. In fact both of my video's seem to show that if I just keep spamming evis (what he's weak to) they depop right away. This is also why I didn't try Ageha as it seems the longer you go without doing the weakened form of damage the more fetters pop. Therefore building to 3000 TP with slashing damage and using it and then switching back to eviseration is a huge risk. If a fetter pops during any of that, fight is over. It also looks like I'm going to have just enough time to finish these, maybe 1-2 minutes to spare. So adding in the time to work in Ageha 3000 TP moves I know will help with damage but also slow down what would be my normal DPS. Unsure if it's worth it but will probably give it an attempt if I wipe on my next one with my remaining time. I do agree that SC/MB'ing on ninja will be helpful but that's only if it lines up with the mobs weakness, it's the same issue as with the Aegha, if he pops a fetter while after you have just done a MB (his only weakness) then by the time you get back to his weakness again (another Mb) to depop the fetter, you will probably be dead. Look at the end of my first example and you will see how quickly they build up on you if you don't keep damage going, in that instance I simply was put into the wrong gearset due to the lag and it caused all that. So I agree these things may work on a NM weak to slashing, but really dont think they will work on piercing/blunt NM's. This is a Wind NM so I would only assume we use Ice MB for weakness. So I'll go ahead and see if I can get a Dark SC/MB test done to see what kind of damage it does on my next wipe, again it's hard to test this stuff during an actual run as the smallest hesitation leads to a loss, either due to running out of time or fetters popping on you. Only two attempt a week so might take me a bit to get the proper strat on all of these but we'll get there. :) I can say I think the mobs who are weak to slashing should be fun!!! Not looking forward to the blunt NM's
@@NextGamesGuide Proccing with piercing doesnt exclude that doing right element of magic do exactly the same, but magic proc might be more consistent. Hard to tell really.
That's a valid point, Still fearful the MB's would be faced too far apart to be successful, will just have to test. However, this I think leaves the door wide open for Elemental WS's. So if he is weak to Ice, how about Blade: To spam, will have to give that a try as well. Thx for the idea's.
@@NextGamesGuide I dont think you will be successful with hybrid WS. Bee resists slashing, so To would also be reduced. What I meant in first comment is that hybrid WSs might be ideal if target is both weak to slashing and weak to element of the hybrid WS.
Can check out the new 6 NM"s and the gears each one unlocks here: www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Category:Odyssey
Thanks for the expedited release man. Always seeing logical in rahab lol

Do you have Galka ninja also? Your account is badass! Thanks for sharing!

Why no access to Yoran?
They don't allow the use of Unity Trust in Sheol Gaol, it's maddening!!!

Yep understood. Gonna still give it a try but pretty sure your right. Which still leaves me with Evisceration spam on this one I think. *sigh*
