Anthony Edwards, despite the current dilemma, is quickly becoming my favorite nba player. That being said, the Trae young 3, the Don Issue 5, the Harden Volume 7 (8 looks promising) have been probably adidas best full display of signature shoes in a while. I’m also excited for Dames new shoe, as he is long overdue for a new shoe.

I love that Adidas is really taking focus on their basketball line. The DONs too, the design is just phenomenal. I’m excited to get these in the mail. This is the first new shoe I've looked forward to in a long-ass while and it looks legit between price/tech/performance. The is a pretty sick design. I like wild wraps and shit thrown onto shoes sometimes like the giant wing on the Penny 1. Love how it also wraps around through the midsole and outsole and just...flows man. They also look comfy as hell. No chance I'll ever wear these in the office but if I can get my lazy ass back on the basketball court again some day who knows!
I was waiting for someone to talk about those tiny holes triggering trypophobia cause I have one. I'm really hesitant to buy this because at first I can't look at it for a long period of time, but now I think I'm getting over it every time I watch reviews, other reviewers doesn't talk about trypophobia and you did, that's why your reviews are the best. I think I'll get that new release, the AE1 Coral.

This the only color i wanted. It feels like when they experiment with red and Black or black and Gold i will buy a 2nd pair of AE 1 mids. Only Mids. I never hoop in Low tops since the Kobe shoes before he ruptured his Achilles tendon. A purple pair with gold nike check on side.
The color reminds me of my old Paprika colored Mad Handles. Also included as a gift inside the box are a pair of toddler model for the son you didn't know to had, right AE? 😂

My fav shoe is the Jordan 36 because of the max cushioning in the forefoot and the eclipse plate that provides massive energy return. Anyone aware of any other shoes that are comparable? Only issues with the J's are width and a little forefoot instability. Wade 10’s don’t provide the same springboard effect as the J’s.
I’m so torn about these. I have the All-Star colorway and I love the look of them. Having said that, the fit is terrible for me. The ankle squeeze hurts when laced up snug like I would for hooping. These fit small TTS on my feet. I am somewhere between a wide foot and a normal foot. The aesthetic is my favorite part of the shoe but I can’t get with the fit. The cushion setup also feels like why I don’t like Adidas in general: it’s nothing special. Tried on the Jordan 34, 36, LeBron 20, and Why Not Zer.0 1 next to these and prefer all of them over these. Granted I have played and broken them in but the tech setup difference is jarring on first impression. Might keep them and try to run them for a few games but am underwhelmed with initial impressions.
