    Such a great video! In 2013 my grandfather passed away and before his death I was not christian or didn't believe in God. When my Grandfather passed I always thought It would be incredibly difficult to cope with it. But when the moment was there on that day I felt so much strength and comfort to deal with the pain. My grandfather wasn't just a grandfather to me he was like my mentor or teacher. I learned a lot from him, so I really thought it would be hard to lose him. But unexpectedly I felt so much strength and comfort when he died and in the days that followed that I could just accept it. It was the moment that I knew there had to be more, that God did exist. So I started reading the bible and prayed , and may faith in Christ has become stronger and stronger over the years. Yet I still fear death a lot. Your video helped me about death and heaven.

    So basically, I will no longer care that the person I love most is in eternal suffering. But if I am no longer empathetic, am I still me? By this explanation, it seems that at least a part of me will die with my body

    • @politicjunkee
      @politicjunkee 3 года назад

      It sounds crazy but we will be glorified. So technically we are in the true righteousness of. Christ and exist in his perfection. Men of the Bible that received revelational insight of what Heaven is like all pretty much stated they can’t talk about it because it would basically blow our minds and they were forbidden to reveal certain aspects and things about heaven. Our human brain can’t handle it. I have a feeling in my spirit that it won’t be a permanent vacation but rather God will charge us for responsibilities based on our spiritual gifts and within the entire purpose of why he knew us before the womb and created us in the first place.

    Great video on this topic. I never understood why so many Christians ask this question. The ultimate goal in life is to believe, repent, and follow the Lord (relationship). I do want my loved ones to be written in the book of life. But we all know that in GOD'S word HE says most will not make it into heaven. Everyone has free will to accept or reject Christ. We can not worry about the decisions of others. It would drive you insane. Plus, the sheer point of being next to our glorious creator will overwhelm us with joy that can't be taken away.

    I have often wondered this, I am a Christian and gave my heart to Jesus!! However my Dad passed away when he was 41 and I was 14. I did not accept Jesus until I was 23 at the help of my Mom. I then wondered if my Dad ever gave his heart to Jesus. I am as some would say a carbon copy between my Grandfather and Dad both. My Dad died of cancer so I know he experienced plenty of suffering due to his illness. I also know he had feelings though sometimes he tried to play the hard man. I was not able to be at his bedside when he passed, in fact it was 3 months later we got the news. I was crushed, I remember coming home on top of the world because A girl I was friends with told me when we get into high school we can date, her parents gave permission. That was January 1972, so in September we could become boy and girl friend. I came home and as a habit came into the kitchen door when Mom is standing at the bar. Mom said Greg I need you to sit down, I have very bad news. I being 14 said no Ill stand trying to be a man. She then told me my Dad had died this past November. I crumbled into her sobbing and crying as the news hit home. I later told Allison on the phone and she cried with me. I think of Dad everyday and wonder if he is in heaven waiting to see me again. I know my Mom is there as she was the one to invite me to church while I was on leave and at home. She passed in 2013. My brother Jerry is also there as he lived his entire adult life as a Christian man and led his family by example. But will my Dad be there, will my Grandfather be there??????

      I am so sorry for your loss. Your greif is normal, but it can be managed with time and understanding.
      But your parents are not only in heaven (be happy for that). They are also with you spritualy. So they are still a part of you, as you are a part of them too.
      They understand that their passing has made you sad and depressed (this is normal). But they don't want you to feel like this forever. They want you to be happy again. But that will take some effort on your part and it is possible. Even though it doesn't seem like it right now.
      I lost my wife in May, 2020. I had known her for 43 years. So I to am still grieving. But she had told me that even when she was gone, I need to pursue a happy life. I will honor her by doing just that.
      Take care,

    Dr. Betters, I do believe that there will be peace and happiness beyond our wildest imaginations in Heaven. I do struggle, though, to understand the passage in Revelation 6:10 which says, "And they cried with a loud voice, saying How long, O Lord, Holy and True, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" It sounds to me like the souls are concerned as to when Jesus will punish those on earth who killed them for preaching the Word of God. If that be the case, then they are not at complete peace nor completely happy yet. Can you shed some light on your take of this verse? Thanks, Diane in NC

    • @smeatonlighthouse4384
      @smeatonlighthouse4384 3 года назад

      At no time do Christians in this dispensation every cry such a cry as is recorded in Revelation. We pray for the salvation of our enemies not their punishment. The verse you are referring to is the souls of those tribulation saints who have been martyred for their faith in Jesus. They are told to wait until further of their brethren of Israel would have to be martyred also (verse 11). These will be a mixture of Jews and Gentiles which are identified separately. If you remember, in the Christian church there is no Jew and Gentile, they are all one in Christ with the middle wall of partition broken down. So to simply answer your question, these are not Christians, but they are saints of God all the same. There are different 'families' of saints. The Old Testament saints, the church saints of this time period, the tribulation saints and the millennial saints, all saved by not all in the church which is the bride of Christ/the Lamb.

      @@smeatonlighthouse4384 Sorry that I'm just now getting back to you. How is it that these martyrs crying out in Verse 10 are not Christians? @@jimmiepatrum The Tribulation saints were those who were left behind the rapture, and did not accept the Mark of the Beast. These people, during our time today until the day before the rapture, were all unbelievers of Christ. After the rapture (the event in which all the dead Christians will be resurrected and bring up on the sky to meet Him, together with the alive Christians) occurs in just a blink of an eye, Tribulation Period follows right away within 7 years. During the Tribulation Period, those who will not accept the Mark of the Beast will be killed.

    Not a good answer. So we will not remember them. How sad. Although it is good for us that we don’t remember them coz then we are not sad but it is indeed very sad for them who are in hell. It is like God placing a veil on us and hides our remembrance of them. So we are in this bliss in heaven and they are burning in hell. Why should we forget them who ministered to us? Who took care of us? Who provided for us? So that we can be happy? Aren’t we bonded with them? Will all human bonds be broken once we go to heaven? I don’t understand. It’s just very sad that unbelievers in hell are not even remembered, not even mourned for, not even thought of for all eternity. Guess their lot is worst than animals. Animals become extinct when they die but unbelievers live on in torment in hell.

    Nothing can exist outside of God. He's presence is everywhere, He encompasses life as we know it and as well as everything we do not know. Nothing or no place van exist outside of God. To say that we will just be happy in His presence, sure, but also we will be at peace. Jesus is not the "potential" Savior of the world (all souls who have ever lived and those still to be born), He is in fact the actual Savior of all of mankind. Is "hell" as we understand it: eternal separation from God; eternal punishment, etc actually biblical? Nope, in no sense or degree. Only in wrongful translations and understanding of the original Scriptures

    Heaven would not be heaven if the Lord Jesus was not there, in fact, I feel if the Lord Jesus was in Hades, it would be Heaven there. He is the focus of our love and affection. We are the focus of HIS love and affection. When He comes for His church at the Rapture it will be for the satisfaction of His love. Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. We go to Heaven when that love is satisfied. (John ch. 14 v 1-3). Human love and affection will disappear in the light of His glory and grace.
